The high school entrance examination comes from the textbook, but it is higher than the textbook. The both sides are closely related.Difficulty is one of the important indicators to measure the quality of the test paper. With the promulgation of the double reduction policy, the difficulty degree of the middle school examination is more concerned by the public. At the same time, the fundamental task of education and the curriculum objectives in the new mathematics curriculum standard are centered on cultivating students’ core quality. The implementation of the above policies into teaching, based on the two aspects of core literacy and pre-test difficulty, the comparative study of exam questions and textbook exercises plays an important role in the preparation of teaching activities and test questions. In this study,Professor Yu Ping’s classification standard of mathematics core literacy level and Professor Bao Jiansheng’s comprehensive difficulty model are selected to conduct a quantitative analysis of the 2019 to 2022 middle school examination math questions and exercises in the teaching textbooks of Jiangxi Province, and to analyze the basic content and content field of the middle school examination questions. The results show that: in terms of score and question type, the questions of Jiangxi high School examination are stable in the past four years. In terms of basic content and knowledge field, the main unchanged part of the question changes,"number and algebra" accounts for the largest proportion, followed by "figure and geometry".By comparing with the exercises in the teaching textbooks,it is found that the core literacy of the middle school exam items occupies the highest proportion of "intuitive imagination" and "logical reasoning",and the literacy level is also slightly higher than that of the exercises in the textbooks, and the majority of the ratio is the same as that of the exercises in the textbooks.Among the comprehensive difficulty factors, the difficulty difference between the exam questions and the textbook exercises is reflected in the "reasoning difficulty" and "knowledge content".The comprehensive difficulty of the exam questions is higher than that of the textbook exercises, and the "background","operation" and "cognition" cause the lowest difficulty difference.Through quantitative comparison,it can be concluded that the exercises in the senior high school examination originated from the textbook, which is higher than the textbook, but also reflects the cultivation of students’ mathematical literacy, mathematical ability and modeling awareness. The following three suggestions are put forward: 1.Set the background of the test skillfully and focus on solving the problem;2.Pay attention to hierarchical training, cultivate comprehensive quality;3.Emphasize the source of knowledge and cultivate the idea of modeling.
