High school mathematical function knowledge is the key content of high school learning,and there are many knowledge points of function,which is very flexible and comprehensive.At present,the teaching of mathematics in senior high school is often given priority to by teaching,and the cultivation of thinking ability is often ignored,which leads to the bad teaching effect of mathematics.Through research,it is found that mind mapping can help students sort out the connections between knowledge points,cultivate divergent and innovative thinking,so as to improve students’ ability to master and apply knowledge points.This thesis first introduces the research background,purpose,significance and research status at home and abroad.Next,the concept,characteristics,theoretical basis and drawing process of mind mapping are introduced in detail.Thirdly,through the collation of questionnaire survey data,the present situation of mathematics function teaching in senior high school and students’ understanding of mind mapping are understood.Finally this thesis studies the application of mind mapping in high school mathematics classroom.This thesis elaborates the application methods of mind mapping in new lecture,exercise class and chapter end/special topic review class,which is the central content of this thesis.Teaching process is designed for each class type,and case analysis is given,hoping to provide reference for teachers to implement mind mapping teaching.Mind mapping can present the relationship between knowledge points in the form of schema,and also help students to construct knowledge system systematically,which is very helpful to students’ learning.Through the study found that the most applicable mind map is put it in the end of the chapter(special)recitation.There are many knowledge points in the review course,which are carried out around a central theme,which is more in line with the application scenario of mind map.For new teaching,mind map is suitable for explaining a series of knowledge points with strong logic and many small knowledge points.This kind of knowledge points can be learned more orderly by using mind map.
