Developing students'thinking is one of important tasks in the geography teaching of high school.This is the need of quality education,the key to improve teaching quality. The training of thinking ability should start from the culture of thinking quality, doing comprehensively and step by step, enabling students to construct their own knowledge systems. Mind Mapping is a concrete reflection of the radioactive method. It's so important for the development and training of student's thinking, the formation of cognitiving structure. At present, in China, " How to build a cognitive structure of students of geography throught Mind Mapping", it's little about this title. In view of this, we have chosen the title——in the high school geography teaching,using Mind Mapping to build student's cognitive structure.With a view to promoting the use of Mind Mapping to build cognitive structure in the geography teaching.Paper consists of five parts total.The first part is the problem propounding. Briefly describing the proposition of the tiltle and the research at home and abroad at present.The second part is for the purpose. Put forward two main research purposes: for different classroom teaching, determining the design of Mind Mapping; establishing the impacting of using Mind Mapping.The third part is the literature review. To discussing the possibity of the use of Mind Mapping to develop students'cognitiving structure.The fourth part is experimental Study.Based on the theoretical study, Starting the experimental study of the use of Mind Mapping to build cognitiving structure.The fifth part is the conclusion of the study.The sixth part is a discussion and prospects.
