With the deepening of the education reform,all kinds of new teaching models were getting more and more attention.PAD class was a new teaching mode.It was a combination of lecturing class and discussing class to rebuild the teaching process,which was more suitable for the teaching activities of teachers and students.Since professor Zhang Xuexin proposed the new teaching mode of PAD class in 2014,after eight years of continuous development,the scholars' research on PAD class had achieved significant results and further pushed forward the teaching reform.This paper applied the method of PAD class to the teaching of geography,probes into the effect of PAD class in senior middle school geography,and then raises relevant recommendations to better improve PAD class,the core quality of geography and teaching quality.This paper is divided into five chapters.The Chapter one is the introduction,which mainly sketch the current research setting,significance and current situation status of PAD class,and decides the research thinking and methods on this basis.The classroom is the main position of teaching.It is of great significance to give full play to the role of the classroom.The state continues to deepen the reform of classroom teaching.At the same time,in the new curriculum standards,more and more attention is paid to students' independent,cooperative and exploratory learning methods.On this basis,it is of great significance to the application of PAD classroom in high school geography teaching.It can not only provide a new perspective and method for geography teaching,but also improve students' core geography literacy and promote the improvement of teaching quality.The Chapter two is the relevant theories of the PAD class,which mainly expounds the concept,types and theoretical basis of PAD classroom,so as to provide a theoretical basis for this study.Based on humanism,cognitivism,constructivism and structuralism,PAD classroom divides the classroom into two,integrates into the process of students' Internalization and absorption,and promotes classroom teaching reform.The Chapter three is the teaching design and implementation of high school geography PAD class teaching mode,mainly including three parts: teaching design,teaching implementation and teaching cases.The first part establishes the principles and process of teaching design combined with PAD class,and arrange the teaching content according to the actual situation.The second part determines the implementation object,plan and preparation content,and put into practice based on this.In the four classes of the internship school,the teaching mode was divided into different sections,before and after.The traditional teaching mode is adopted in Chapter I and II,and the PAD class teaching mode is adopted in Chapter III,IV and V.The third part is the specific teaching cases of geography PAD class in senior high school,which is divided into two cases: in class and split the class,to enrich the case study.The Chapter four is the effect investigation of PAD class teaching mode in senior high school Geography,which mainly conduct a survey from four aspects: classroom observation,questionnaire survey,interview and homework,so as to all-round appraise the practical effect of the PAD class.The Chapter five is the conclusion,consist of the positive effect,existing problems,improvement suggestions,limitations and prospects of divided classroom.At the student level,the application of PAD class teaching mode of high school geography could effectively improve the students' ability to participate in the class,strengthen the students' self-study ability,promote the students' cooperation and communication ability,and improve the students' ability in the subject and the core quality of geography;At the teaching level,effectively enhance teachers' teaching ability and professional ability.According to the actual teaching situation,the suggestions are as follows: The introduction of the situation to select materials;The blank space should be arranged reasonably;Independent study discussion should be guided by tour;In the summary of questions and answers should be corrected and filled in.
