After the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,under the guidance of the fundamental task of "cultivating morality and cultivating people",the reform of ideological and political disciplines in senior high schools has taken on a new look."Ordinary Senior High School Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards" clearly states that senior high school ideological and political courses should place the cultivation of students' core literacy in a prominent position and build an active curriculum.As a breakthrough to achieve the requirements of curriculum standards,topic-based teaching has gradually become a hot topic.However,because topic-based teaching is a new teaching method,it lacks theoretical guidance and practical experience in the implementation process.In addition,high school ideological and political teachers have been giving lecture-style teaching based on traditional teaching methods for a long time,there exists students generally accept passively.Therefore,the implementation of topic-based teaching faces many difficulties.Based on the existing achievements of topic-based teaching,this paper conducts a questionnaire survey on the students of four high schools in D City,selects 20 ideological and political teachers from the four high schools in D City to conduct interviews,and organizes the survey data and interview results as the research basis.This paper analyzes the problems and causes in the application of topic-based teaching,and seeks improvement measures.The structure of this paper is summarized into five parts.The first part explains the research background,research significance,research status at home and abroad,the research ideas and research methods used in this paper,the innovations and deficiencies of the research.The second part presents the connotation,characteristics and application principles of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political class;Study its theoretical basis;This paper analyzes the value of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political education from three perspectives: curriculum reform,teachers' ability and students' literacy.The third part,based on the first-hand detailed data collected by means of surveys and interviews,collates the questionnaire data of students from four senior high schools in D city,and analyzes the existing problems and causes in the application of topic-based teaching in senior high school ideological and political courses.The fourth part studies the effective strategies of applying topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political courses,starting from the three subjects of school,teachers and students,so as to make topic-based teaching play its greatest role in teaching and better serve the teaching practice.The fifth part summarizes the research contents of this paper,and on this basis,looks forward to the successful application of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political courses in the future.
