The "General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)" aims to develop the core literacy of students in chemistry.In the implementation of the curriculum,it is recommended to attach importance to the connection with other subjects,guide students to learn in a broader subject background,and cultivate the ability to comprehensively use the knowledge of various subjects to solve problems.This fits well with the philosophy of STEAM education.The school-based curriculum resources developed based on STEAM education can be used as one of the sources of high school chemistry elective courses.This research attempts to use "Petrochemical Engineering" as the theme and develop school-based curriculum resources based on STEAM education.First of all,this research combs the development process of STEAM education and the current research status of STEAM education development at home and abroad.Then,through questionnaire surveys,we can learn about the knowledge of petrochemical engineering and the application of materials about petrochemical engineering by first-line high school chemistry teachers,the learning and mastery of petrochemical engineering knowledge by high school students,and the attitudes of high school chemistry teachers and high school students to the school-based textbook of "Petrochemical Engineering".This study analyzes the penetration of petrochemical knowledge in national high school chemistry textbooks,and finds that petrochemical knowledge in high school chemistry textbooks is situational and basic.According to the analysis results,combined with the expectations of front-line teachers and high school students in terms of course content,course practice methods,and course evaluation methods,based on the STEAM education concept,it is determined that the principles of ability-oriented,practical and generative are the principles of ability-oriented,practical and generative.On the basis of teaching materials,the school-based curriculum of "Petrochemical Engineering" was designed and developed.This course consists of three units and nine topics,with petrochemical knowledge as the main line,involving chemistry,physics,biology,geography,history and other disciplines.This study selects some topics in the course for teaching design and teaching practice,verifies the feasibility of the course,and gives suggestions for course implementation:(1)Fully respect the autonomy of students(2)Combine multi-disciplinary,do(3)Be flexible in handling and using course materials.With the deepening of curriculum reform and the development of STEAM education,the development and implementation of school-based curriculum resources based on STEAM education will receive more attention and greater development.It is hoped that this research can provide a reference for the future development of school-based curriculum resources.
