Education faces all students and promotes their all-round and healthy development,especially primary education,which is one of the main positions for the implementation of quality education.The differentiation of primary school mathematics performance is not conducive to the achievement of teaching tasks in the stage of compulsory education and the physical and mental health development.It also violates the core concept of the new curriculum reform of "facing all students and laying the foundation for students' all-round development and lifelong development".In the whole process of primary school,the fourth-grade is not only an important stage to develop students'mathematical logic ability and mathematical abstract thinking,but also an important stage to help students form good learning habits.It plays an important role in connecting the past and future for students' growth and development.However,with the increase of the difficulty of the textbook itself and the obvious increase of students' learning capacity,most students often encounter learning difficulties at this stage,which leads to the differentiation of mathematics academic performance.Based on above situation,combined with my own educational practice experience,the paper selects the fourth-grade students(2018 students)from three primary schools in X Town,Ordos City as the research object.In order to understand the status of students' mathematics learning differentiation,the paper takes their mathematics final examination results from grade 1 to 3 as the research basis.And then analyzes the causes of mathematics learning polarization through questionnaire and targeted interviews so as to explore the strategies to reduce polarization.The paper is divided into three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction introduces reason why the paper choose to study the topic of "Study on the Status and Countermeasures of Mathematics Achievement Differentiation of Fourth-grade Students in Primary School--Take 3 Primary Schools in X Town,Ordos City for Example",research purpose and significance,concept definition,literature review,research ideas and methods,as well as research innovation and deficiency.Introduction aims to clarify what is the differentiation of mathematics achievement,why to study this phenomenon,what is the current research status,how the paper should study and so on.The text consists three parts.The first part is the investigation on the status of mathematics achievement differentiation of fourth-grade students,including achievement statistical analysis and questionnaire statistical analysis.By sorting out the data statistics of mathematics achievement and analysis of questionnaire results,we can understand the current situation so as to provide basis for cause analysis and strategy research.The second part is the analysis of the causes of the differentiation of mathematics achievement differentiation of fourth-grade students,including students themselves,teachers'professional quality,learning content and family education.The third part is the coping strategies of mathematics achievement differentiation of fourth-grade students.Based on the above four dimensions of reasons,it puts forward to cultivate students' good learning quality;Improve teachers' professional quality;Grasp the characteristics of knowledge and teaching difficulties;Improve the quality of parents and strengthen home school cooperation.The conclusion expounds the research results and conclusions,and points out the unsolved problems and prospects for future research.
