| With the promulgation of the ‘Geography Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)’,the academic community has paid more and more attention to the practical ability of geography,which is one of the core competencies of geography.As we all know,geography is a science that studies the extremely complex earth’s surface system.Therefore,conducting geographical investigations in real scenarios in the field will not only help students verify the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom,but also cultivate students’ Geographical practical ability.Starting from local geography,carrying out geographic field investigation is one of the important methods to cultivate students’ geographic practice ability,therefore,this paper discusses the design of high school geographic field study cases based on the cultivation of geographic practical ability.This paper takes the rural geography of Chahar Right Middle County in Inner Mongolia as an example and uses the method of literary analysis to sort out the current situation of the field study of middle school geography at home and abroad in the past five years,as well as the research status of the field study of middle school geography in China on the cultivation of geographical practice ability.Using the method of field investigation combined with the method of literary analysis,the author investigated the local geography of Inner Mongolia Chahar Right Middle County and screened out the curriculum resources and analyzed the selected 10 typical high school geography field investigation cases,and obtained beneficial inspiration for the design of high school geography field investigation cases.Through the analysis of them,some useful inspirations are obtained about the case design of high school geography field investigation.The case study has obtained useful inspiration for the design of the high school geography field investigation case;to investigate the high school geography teachers and students in the district of Ulanqab city utilizing a questionnaire survey,to understand the development of the field survey of high school geography in this area,and to get the corresponding enlightenment;designed 4 high school geographical field investigation cases based on the cultivation of geographical practice ability and implemented 1 high school geographical field investigation case through action research method,and reflected on the above process;based on the above work,6 general strategies for high school geography fieldwork case design are attempted.The conclusions of this paper are as follows: First,10 sites suitable for conducting high school geography field investigations were selected in Chahar Right Middle County,including Huanghuagou Geopark,Huitengxile Alpine Meadow Grassland,Aolunnaoer ‘99 lakes’,Dianhongdai ravine,Black Mountain,Yangpozi Village,Quanyulin River,Big Red Lake,Salt Lake,Taodong Lake.Second,four high school geography field investigation cases based on the cultivation of geographical practice ability were designed,namely Field Investigation of Huitengxile Grassland Landscape,Field Investigation of Huitengxile Grassland Plant Geography,Soil Geography Field Investigation of Aolunnaoer 99 Lakes,Comprehensive Field Investigation of Natural Geographical Elements of Huanghuagou Geopark.Third,condensed six general strategies for the design of high school geography fieldwork case design:(1)The goals and tasks of field investigation are based on the high school geography curriculum standards(2)The starting point of the field investigation is the literacy of geographic practice,and the field investigation process is based on observation and measurement(3)The design of field investigation cases is based on the convenient experience of teachers and students in geographical field investigations(4)The theme of field expedition should highlight the characteristics of local geographic resources(5)In terms of field investigation tools,it is necessary to give full play to the advantages of conventional tools and digital tools(6)The division of geographical practice literacy level is the basis for design field investigation and evaluation. |
