Mathematical operation ability is a fundamental ability for students to master,which is the foundation of mathematics and other related disciplines learning.After relevant research of literature,combined with the author's internship experience,this paper studies the current situation of mathematical operation ability of Grate 8 students in S middle school in S city.By arranging the relevant literature,the author defines the relevant concepts of mathematical operation ability and understands a series of research achievement of correlative scholars on mathematical operation ability.Adopting SOLO classification theory,it classifies students' mathematical operation ability into 5 levels: Level 1-Pre-structural Level,level 2-Uni-structural level,level 3-Multi-structural level,level 4-Relational level,and level 5-Extend Abstract level.The measuring tools in this paper are referred by relevant scholars' research results,including students' test,self-monitoring questionnaire and attitude questionnaire.In the analysis of the test,it mainly discusses the level distribution of students and the differences between male and female students in different classes,classifying and explaining the errors of students.Through analyzing the results of students' self-monitoring ability and making correlation analysis with the results of students' mathematical operation ability,it gets a general correlation between them,which is strong between detection dimension and regulation dimension.In the attitude questionnaire,the students perform less emotion,lack of attribution,bad habits in mathematical operation and so on.In the results of teacher interview,In the results of teacher interview,what teachers cut down the time of demonstration of mathematical operation exercises in class effect the development of students' mathematical operation.Teachers' choice of exercise content will also affect students' mathematical ability.Through the above research,the author explores the problems that exists in students' learning of mathematical operation,analyzing the causes of the problems and putting forward corresponding cultivated suggestions according to the causes.
