Mathematics operation ability is not only one of the ten core concepts in compulsory education,but also one of the most basic abilities that mathematics subjects require students to master.Its importance in the process of students' mathematics learning is self-evident.It is of great significance to develop students' mathematical thinking,to cultivate students' exploring spirit and creative consciousness,and also to lighten students' learning burden and improve the quality of mathematics teaching.In this paper,literature,test paper,questionnaire and analytical method are used to investigate the present situation of the mathematics calculation ability of the students in the third year of junior high school.The factors that influence the calculation ability of the students in the third year of junior high school are analyzed,and how to improve the number of students in the third grade is discussed.Learn the ability to calculate.Through the collation and statistics of test papers and questionnaires,this paper analyzes the present situation of mathematics operation ability of the students in the third year of junior high school,and draws the following results:(1)the current situation of the number operation level of the students in the third year of junior high school is in the middle and below the middle level.At the same time,the accuracy of the results is not too high.Therefore,the calculation level still needs to be improved.(2)in terms of students' gender and whether they participate in extracurricular tutoring,there is no significant difference between them in their operational abilities.(3)in the aspects of operation habits and psychology,Many students failed to meet the requirements.Combined with the above conclusions,we put forward some teaching suggestions to improve the students' ability of mathematics operation:(1)pay attention to the teaching of basic knowledge and basic skills,and improve the accuracy of calculation;(2)strengthen the thinking training,straighten out the arithmetic and arithmetic,improve the rationality and simplicity of operation,(3)attach importance to the cultivation of students' non-intelligence factors,establish the confidence,and form the good operation habit;(4)rational use of calculators to reduce the influence of external factors.
