The application of mind map in middle school teaching is in line with the needs of teaching content,which is helpful for students to construct a complete knowledge system and can promote the cultivation of students' subject thinking.However,some teachers often use hand-drawn method,drawing speed is slow,difficult to modify,low recognition,which is contrary to the significance and purpose of improving the teaching effect of biology class.Combined with the direction of teaching innovation in the information age,considering the acceptability of teachers to the difficulty of software operation,I selected the easy-to-use and easy-to-operate XMind software as a drawing tool to study.XMind simple operation,visualization,powerful function,various forms of structure diagram and beautiful,networkable operation,has been applied to information technology,physics and other disciplines research,the application in biology is still in its infancy.An innovative point of this study is to use the XMind to draw the mind map and select the case of biology teaching for the application of biology teaching in senior high school.This research first explained the research background and the present situation,elaborated the related concept and the theory basis.And then the feasibility analysis of applying XMind mind map to biology teaching.Finally,the experimental group and the control group were set up by the experimental method,and the data of pre-test and post-test were compared by SPSS statistical software.This study obtained the following main research results through interview,research,questionnaire,and experimental research.1.Through the interview survey results,80% of teachers think that software mapping thinking map is better than hand better than the hand drawing method,60% think that it is necessary to use the professionaldrawing software XMind draw mind map,and most teachers can accept the XMind software drawing mind map to apply to the classroom,and think that the XMind software is easy to learn and easy to operate.2.Based on the case-based teaching,this paper studies the application of the thinking map drawn by XMind software from the teaching design link,the classroom teaching link(new lesson introduction,teaching new lesson,knowledge combing)and the after-class teaching reflection,and discusses and analyzes the teaching and learning value of the series thinking map to teachers and students.3.By making the questionnaire survey and conducting the interview survey,and analyzing the results before and after the experiment,the application of XMind software mapping thinking map to biology teaching in senior high school can significantly improve students' interest and enthusiasm in learning,reduce students' difficulty in learning knowledge,and also significantly improve their academic performance.
