The concept of life is the most characteristic element in the core accomplishment of biology,and its establishment is based on the conceptual knowledge of biology.There are many forms of life concept in biology curriculum,because these concepts are common in the field of natural science,appropriate interdisciplinary teaching helps students to construct the concept of biology and the concept of life.First of all,this study through the literature research to comb the life idea and interdisciplinary teaching related research progress both at home and abroad,core concepts of this article "biology core literacy",the concept of "life","junior high school biology important concept" and "interdisciplinary teaching",analyzed the connotation and significance of define,clarify based on the theoretical basis of the teaching research institute.Combined with the results of interviews with front-line biology teachers in junior high schools,this paper makes clear the awareness level and implementation of the cultivation of life concept of current junior high school biology teachers,as well as the treatment methods of interdisciplinary knowledge,and finds that current junior high school biology teachers need to improve their emphasis on the core literacy of life concept.The interdisciplinary knowledge contained in biology curriculum and its value have not been fully explored and utilized.Guided by the cultivation of the concept of life,this study carried out the practice research of interdisciplinary teaching in junior middle school biology,aiming to explore the path of interdisciplinary teaching as the implementation of the cultivation of the concept of life,and the specific teaching principles and teaching methods in the implementation process.First of all,taking the first volume of junior high School Biology textbook of The Seventh grade as the carrier,the concept of life and the interdisciplinary knowledge contained in the important concepts of junior high school biology in this textbook are sorted out.After finishing the preparatory work,we carried out a one-semester practice research on interdisciplinary teaching in the middle School affiliated to Guangzhou University,and found that interdisciplinary teaching is an effective means to promote the construction of important biological concepts and the formation of life concepts.According to the test results of life concept level test,interdisciplinary teaching method helps students to establish life concept: in the dimension of important concept,there is no significant difference between the two classes;However,in the dimensions of matter and energy,steady-state and balance,the scores of the experimental class were higher,and there was a significant difference of 0.01 level between the experimental class and the control class.According to the survey on students’ classroom experience,87.5% of the students agree or strongly agree that "interdisciplinary teaching helps me to understand biological concepts".91.67% of the students agree with the idea that "interdisciplinary teaching has improved my interest in biology classroom" to varying degrees.84.09% of the students said they could accept interdisciplinary teaching.Finally,this paper puts forward five basic principles of interdisciplinary teaching oriented by the concept of life: the high connection between interdisciplinary knowledge and teaching focus,the moderate difficulty of interdisciplinary teaching,the randomness of entering into interdisciplinary teaching,the timing of interdisciplinary teaching and the sequence of interdisciplinary knowledge.
