| The core quality of Chinese students’ development(Draft for comments)issued by the Ministry of education and the new curriculum standard of 2017 allow the core elements of biology discipline composed of social responsibility,scientific thinking,scientific exploration and life concept to form a value orientation for reference when cultivating talents.In biology teaching,concept teaching is a process for teachers to guide students to learn the biological concept corresponding to the phenomenon from biological phenomena through exploration.The concept of life is the cornerstone of the core literacy of biology discipline.Biological concept is the basis of biological knowledge system.Biological concept and life concept have common basic characteristics.Therefore,the process of biological concept teaching is an important stage of forming the concept of life.Therefore,Biological concept teaching is a very important carrier to cultivate the concept of life.In the process of biology teaching in junior middle school,through the help of concept teaching,we can carry out classroom teaching to cultivate students’ life concept,optimize the teaching strategy of concept teaching,pay attention to the cultivation of students’ ability to build knowledge,knowledge transfer ability and critical thinking ability in the process of concept teaching,and more effectively implement the cultivation of students’ life concept literacy in biology curriculum.Firstly,on the basis of the research background,this paper expounds the concept teaching and the concept of life in the core literacy of biology in junior middle school,the current situation of theoretical research at home and abroad and the definition of the two concepts.Secondly,the biology teachers of junior middle school in the practice school and some biology teachers in the area of the practice school understand the current situation of concept teaching and the application of teaching strategies by using research means such as questionnaire and interview,put forward the existing problems and deficiencies,and deeply excavate the penetration point of life concept contained in the teaching materials and the relationship between the setting of teaching columns and life concept,Summarize the teaching strategies of applying concept teaching to cultivate the life concept of junior middle school students in biology.Through the pre class preview question card,clarify the problems that confuse students,formulate the teaching objectives that point to the cultivation of life concept literacy,break through the key and difficult points and problems that confuse students in class,achieve the core literacy objectives,and then apply the concept map strategy after class to make students master the key and difficult points and make students understand the concepts In the process of constructing the concept system,the concept of life is formed,student-centered teaching is carried out,and relevant teaching cases are set up to be applied to the daily teaching of biology in junior middle school.Finally,it analyzes the final effect of cultivating students’ life concept based on concept teaching,and puts forward relevant suggestions.Through research and data analysis,it is found that the four classes in Grade 7 and grade 8with no difference in pre-test scores have an average score of 72.59 in Grade 7 experimental class,70.07 in control class,79.26 in Grade 8 experimental class and 76.57 in control class after a semester of completely different concept teaching.Then compare the average scores of multiple-choice questions and non multiple-choice questions among the four classes,the scores of the four dimensions of life concept in multiple-choice questions and the construction of concept map.It is found that the two experimental classes in Grade 7 and grade 8 are better than the other two control classes.The results of statistical t-test show that after the teaching practice,there is a significant difference in the level of life concept literacy between the two experimental classes and the two control classes in Grade 7 and grade 8.Based on the analysis of students’ classroom response and after class performance,it is feasible to cultivate students’ life concept literacy based on teaching.Cultivating students’ life concept based on concept teaching meets the ideas and requirements of the new biology curriculum reform and biology curriculum standard reform.Applying concept teaching and teaching strategies to junior middle school biology classroom can effectively improve students’ life concept literacy level and improve the education and teaching quality of junior middle school biology. |
