With the deepening of the new curriculum reform,how to improve the core literacy of students in the process of teaching and learning has become the focus of front-line teaching workers,and deep learning is an important way to cultivate and improve the core literacy.The learning process under the theory of deep learning is a process in which students,driven by active consciousness,solve problems with higher-order thinking and achieve transfer and application.Applying deep learning theory in Chinese teaching can improve students’ thinking and knowledge transfer and application ability.Novel teaching is an important part of Chinese reading teaching that can not be ignored.The characters and themes revealed in the novel text are conducive to enhancing students’ reading ability and enhancing their core literacy.Junior high school as a join the important stage of high school,his novel teaching still exists the problem of shallow,performance of deep learning in teachers not value,teaching mode of a single,lack of the learning experience and migration of application ability,etc,cause in the process of the students in the novel,the novel content not in-depth understanding.With the increasing heat of deep learning theory discussion in academic field,the application of deep learning theory in Chinese teaching in junior middle school will help improve the superficial teaching of novel,improve the effect of novel teaching,and further improve the core literacy of students.The main content of this study is based on the understanding of the current situation of Chinese novel teaching in junior high school,the deep learning theory into the teaching,put forward the strategy of optimizing novel teaching.The author interprets the theory of deep learning through literature research,understands the current situation of novel teaching through questionnaire survey and interview,and puts forward teaching strategies to promote students’ deep learning according to the characteristics of deep learning.In order to provide practical help for the current teaching of fiction.It is a phenomenon that we hope to improve the superficial learning of novels in teaching class,improve the teaching effect of novels and cultivate students’ reading ability of novels.
