Recently, with a boom in the economy?science and technology, social production, lifestyle changes, etc, our basic education reform is severely challenged. The traditional teaching education can't meet the current needs of the social needs and students' development. Therefore, the world began to attain importance to undertaking and studying students' comprehensive practical activities to improve the comprehensive quality of students and their practical ability. As China has been promoting basic education curriculum reform, comprehensive practical activities has become a major highlight of the new national curriculum reform, changing the way of learning, cultivating students' consciousness, improving their practical ability,and functioning as an innovative inspiration.Based on the comprehensive researches on the comprehensive practical activities conducted home and abroad, and combining our own geography teaching practice, with investigation, analysis of the current situation, the paper addresses the problems and puts forward some approaches to them. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is an introduction of the origins, significance, methods and technical routes of the research, which is supported by the theoretical basis of a literature review and comprehensive practical activities carried out in our country. The second chapter explains the connotation, features, settings, and teachers of the comprehensive practical activities. From the activities carried out in favor of promoting the development of geography teaching, helping improve the way of students learning geography, and promoting the transformation of the concept of geography teachers, this part illustrates the need for integration of geography and comprehensive practical activities. What's more, from the policies, students, teachers, schools, educational administration and curriculum resources, it confirms the feasibility of the activities being conducted. The third chapter is about interviewing the subjects of the activities:students, teachers, leaders; analyzing the data, and concluding what is researched. The fourth chapter, the longest part, is about the main strategies of investigation in comprehensive practical activities. In this part, the first step is to clarify how to enrich geography integrated practice activity curriculum resources and activities and then to propose a targeted geographic comprehensive practice teaching, cases, which is followed by assessment of the specific activities and evaluation methods.Finally, it contains construction strategies concluded by the teachers, and resources of supporting mechanisms. The fifth chapter is mainly about questions to be addressed and recommendations.This article closely combines own teaching practices, refers to and analyses the relevant teaching cases, focusing on the geographic comprehensive strategy practice at our current school system, which is easy to operate in everyday high school geography class.
