Derivative is one of the main contents of modern calculus,but also the concept of high school mathematics to grasp,the application of derivative is very wide,especially in physics,chemistry and other natural subjects,and also has very important educati onal value.Derivative is one of the core concepts of modern calculus.After the reform of the new curriculum standard,the teaching content of derivative and its application in seniorhigh school mathematics textbooks has been adjusted,emphasizing that the teaching content of derivative should highlight the essence of concept,pay attenti on to cultivating students' logical thinking,and strengthen the infiltration of mathe matical thinking methods to improve comprehensive ability to solve problems.Therefore,howto help students understand derivative knowledge and overcome learning barriers in classroom teaching has become a topic that front-line mathematics teachers focuson.This article is based on high school students in learning derivative knowledge understanding disorders found in the investigation and analysis,find out the causes of learning disabilities students,and targeted put forward the corresponding advice on the teaching and learning,derivative hope can for high school and senior high school students of teaching learning derivative to provide some reference and experience for reference.The question of this paper is:what kind of learning disabilities will occur when high school students learn derivatives?What are the reasons why students have obstacles in learning derivative knowledge?How do students overcome difficulties in learning derivatives?In derivative teaching,how should teachers help students break through learning barriers?This paper uses literature analysis method,test paper analysis method,questionnaire analysis method and interview method.The author read a lot of literature,after a mentor and first-line teachers guidance to develop test and questionnaire,select the third middle school in Harbin(we campus)of 232 high school students as investigation object,and the derivative of the concept,operation ability,problem-solving method,mathematics learning attitude problem investigation,interview and the first-line teachers.The results of the investigation found that there are high school students derivative learning disabilities:(1)the concept of derivative is not thorough understanding;(2)Confused memory of derivative formula,improper use;(3)Weak computing foundation and lack of computing skills;(4)the steps for solving problems are not standardized and the methods for solving problems are not clear;(5)there is no understanding of the connection between derivative and function,and obstacles in knowledge transfer;(6)There is insufficient understanding of mathematical ideas and methods in derivative and lack of necessary mathematical ideas;(7)Lack of confidence and interest in learning;Finally,based on the analysis of the derivative learning disabilities in senior high school students and their causes,corresponding suggestions are put forward for teachers and students in different situations.Study advice for students;(1)review old knowledge and preview new knowledge;(2)construct derivative knowledge structure chart;(3)attach importance to the common question types and solving methods of derivative problems;(4)sort out wrong questions and improve the ability of summary and induction.Suggestions to teachers' teaching:(1)to guide students to set learning goals,learning attitude(2)the derivative abstractions embodied,increase life instance(3)the geometric meaning of derivative visualizations,strengthen intuitive feelings(4)pay attention to derivative formula law of teaching,improve the operation ability(5)pay attention to students' literacy development core,broaden the thinking ability.
