General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out that ideological and political courses are the key courses to implement the fundamental task of cultivating moral education,and we should actively promote the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory courses.In the context of the new curriculum reform,the new teaching concept attaches more importance to the process of students ’learning,advocates the cultivation of students’ independent development ability and communication and cooperation ability,and emphasizes the development of students’ core qualities.However,in the actual high school ideological and political courses,teachers ’direct teaching occupies most of the time,and students become passive "knowledge recipients",which not only stifles students’ creativity,but also ignores the cultivation of students’ learning ability and the improvement of comprehensive ability.Under such circumstances,the traditional teaching mode can no longer meet the needs of the country,society and student development,and it needs to actively carry out the reform and innovation of the teaching mode.5E teaching mode consists of five links: engagement,exploration,explanation,elaboration and evaluation.It is an inquiry teaching mode based on constructivism theory.It not only pays attention to the process of students ’independent inquiry of knowledge,but also attaches great importance to the cultivation of students’ inquiry ability and cooperative consciousness.This teaching mode has changed the traditional current situation of "teachers teaching,students listening",and is committed to stimulating students’ interest in learning,emphasizing the two-way interaction between teachers and students in the classroom,and creating a good learning atmosphere for students.This study applies the 5E teaching mode to the teaching of high school ideological and political courses,starts from theoretical and practical aspects,analyzes the practical application effect of 5E teaching mode combined with specific cases,and improves the current teaching mode based on this,hoping to provide a new idea for the teaching reform of ideological and political courses in high school.This study is divided into four parts,the first part is divided into introduction and related concepts.Based on the relevant theories of 5E teaching mode,this part summarizes the research status of 5E teaching mode at home and abroad,has a comprehensive understanding of the meaning,links and stages of 5E teaching mode,and provides a theoretical basis for the application of 5E teaching mode;the second part is the necessity and feasibility of the application of 5E teaching mode.Through the questionnaire survey,the high school students and political teachers understand the current situation of high school ideological and political courses,summarizes the necessity and feasibility of using 5E teaching mode of ideological and political courses,and provides realistic data support for the application of the third part is the principles and strategies of the application of 5E teaching mode.Based on the theoretical basis and practical basis,this part analyzes the principles and strategies of applying 5E teaching mode to high school ideological and political teaching,and designs specific teaching cases according to its principles and strategies;the fourth part is divided into application effect evaluation and conclusion.Starting from the teaching practice,this part objectively analyzes the teaching effect of 5E teaching mode applied to high school ideological and political courses,and analyzes the path to improve the application effect of 5E teaching mode according to its effect,so as to improve the classroom teaching effect and further promote the curriculum reform.
