With the further development of the new curriculum reform,the traditional teaching methods are no longer respected by educators.As a new teaching method,inquiry teaching is more and more attached importance to the majority of teachers.In inquiry teaching,students are required to learn main knowledge points on the current teaching content under the guidance of teachers by “autonomous,inquiry and cooperative” learning mode.On this basis,students can better achieve the curriculum standards on cognitive and emotional goals.It has an important significance for promoting students’ comprehensive development.However,with the reality of education environment,teachers’ ability and other factors,there are many problems in inquiry teaching implementation process.Taking into various factors account,it does not reach the expected goal in inquiry teaching.With the development of quality education nowadays,it is the duty and mission of the ideological and political teachers to combine the ideological and political teaching and inquiry teaching effectively in senior high school.On the basis of a detailed understanding of the research status at home and abroad as well as the inquiry teaching,the author analyzes the following aspects in this thesis.(Ⅰ)For the possible problems in high school ideological and political teaching,questionnaires were designed for teachers and students respectively.Simultaneously,the author had an interview with teachers and students.On the basis of above,the questionnaire and the results were analyzed in detail.There are three main aspects were founded,including poorly organized inquiry teaching mode,low student participation and imperfect school system and other related facilities.(Ⅱ)Based on the survey results,the reasons from the respects of school,teachers and students are analyzed which includedlow degree of attention,lack of evaluation system,lack of capacity and the influence of study under the pressure.(Ⅲ)According to the results of investigation and analysis,this thesis puts forward the teaching strategies of inquiry teaching from the aspects of school,teachers and studentscombined with the current situation of high school ideological and political teaching.First of all,school should improve the level of inquiry teaching.It includes providing teachers with opportunities to learn from outside and inside,enriching teaching resources,making full use of teaching facilities,and constructing scientific and reasonable evaluation system.Secondly,teachers must improve the level of inquiry teaching.Starting from the main body of the students,teachers should cultivate the students’ independent inquiry,cooperation consciousness and the ability of independent inquiry.In addition,the overall arrangement,exploring the process of answering and guiding,and deep inspiration should be implemented to ensure the smooth progress of the inquiry process and the realization of the goal of inquiry.Finally,the students themselves should change the role of learning and developgood learning habits.
