With the continuous advancement of urban community construction,more and more attention has been paid to the community cultural participation of urban community residents.As the future of the motherland,the development of children has always been the focus of attention in today's society,especially in every family.The community is the main environment for school-age children to live,School age children's participation in community culture is not only conducive to the overall development of children's quality and the cultivation of social skills,but also plays an important role in the promotion of school age children's sense of community identity and the creation of spiritual and cultural atmosphere in the community.However,there are also many problems in the community cultural participation of school-age children.Social work plays an irreplaceable role with its professional service concept and working methods.Therefore,it is necessary to discuss the involvement of social work in the community cultural participation of school-age children.Taking a community in Zhengzhou as an example,this study investigates the current situation of school-age children's cultural participation in the community by means of questionnaires and interviews,and analyzes the existing problems,The school-age children's participation in community culture in the community has been low in frequency,strong willingness to participate but low in satisfaction,low in professionalism and formalization;In view of the above problems,with the help of questionnaire survey and interview,this paper analyzes the main needs of school-age children's community cultural participation in the community,and carries out professional planning according to the needs.After resource links and publicity recruitment,it carries out a series of theme activities of "community is my home"children's growth group and "Chinese culture enters the community,and excellent culture is inherited forever",The purpose is to make school-age children better integrate into the community,understand the community,and promote school-age children's community cultural participation;Through the practice of social work,it is found that social work intervention in the community cultural participation of school-age children can play a positive role in varying degrees for students themselves,families,communities and social workers,but at the same time,it also finds some shortcomings,such as the constraints of practical conditions on the innovation of social work professional services It is difficult for social work projects to get rid of administration and single way of resource link.It is suggested that in the community cultural participation of school-age children,social work intervention should improve the cognition and reflection of social work value,improve the professionalism of community children's culture,improve the ability to integrate resources,and establish a perfect publicity mechanism.
