Reading is very important in Chinese teaching in junior middle school,and it is also the key to cultivate students’ Chinese core literacy.Group reading teaching is a new type of reading teaching mode which has arisen in recent years.It is born in response to the requirement of social development for reading literacy.Now all sections of primary and secondary schools in China are trying and popularizing group reading teaching.Group reading teaching is also a hot spot in academic research.However,since the new edition of unified textbooks was used in junior high schools nationwide in 2019,most of the existing researches were based on the old edition of textbooks,and few achievements were made in exploring group reading teaching based on the new edition of unified textbooks.The new edition has its new features and requirements.The Chinese reading teaching of group texts in junior middle schools should take off with the new edition of unified textbook,and the research in this area needs to be strengthened.Based on this,this paper attempts to explore the Chinese teaching of group reading in junior high school based on the unified textbooks.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into three chapters:The introduction mainly expounds the background,research status,research contents,research objectives,research methods and the significance of this topic.The first chapter is an overview of the teaching and teaching materials of Chinese group reading in junior middle schools.This paper mainly introduces the historical origin and related concepts of group reading,expounds the value and significance of group reading teaching,and combs and explains the arrangement characteristics and purpose of reading texts in unified textbooks for junior high school.Chapter two states the present situation of the teaching and analysis its reasons of Chinese group reading in junior middle school.Taking the teachers and students of Changshou District Middle School in Chongqing as the research objects,this paper investigates the actual situation of group reading teaching in junior high schools by means of questionnaires and interviews,and finds that there are some problems in teaching,such as unclear teaching objectives,rigid topic setting,the single way of selecting articles,organizing groups,and after-school inspection,etc.,and analyzes the causes of these problems.The third chapter,discusses the teaching strategy of group reading in junior middle school.Based on the unified teaching materials,starting from the characteristics and requirements of the unified teaching materials,this paper explores the strategies and methods of reading teaching of Chinese group texts in junior high schools.In view of the existing problems,this paper puts forward some corresponding strategies and methods in the following aspects: the determination of teaching objectives,the setting of teaching topics,the ways of selecting texts and composing elements,and the ways of teaching detection.The conclusion part summarizes the full text.
