In recent years, the core literacy has attracted much attention in the field of mathematics education. In view of the continuous innovation and reform of mathematics courses, the field of mathematics education is also paying more and more attention to the comprehensive level of primary and middle school students' mastering and applying the basic knowledge of mathematics in real situations to analyze and solve problems in real life situations. The junior high school students in China are in an important period of the development of logical reasoning ability,so the investigation of the relationship between logical reasoning ability of junior high school students in China and the ability to solve mathematical situational problems has a strong forward-looking and practical significance. In this paper, the literature research method and questionnaire survey method were used to investigate the research,135 students were selected as the subjects, the logical reasoning ability scale and mathematical situation problem solving test volume were used to investigate the logical reasoning ability level of the students in the second year of junior high school, the ability to solve mathematical situation problem level. The differences of logical reasoning ability and mathematical situational problem solving ability in different genders and different academic levels were determined, and the correlation between logical reasoning ability and mathematical situational problem solving ability of Grade 2 students was explored. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Grade 2 students' overall logical reasoning ability is above the average level; There is no significant gender difference in the logical reasoning ability of Grade 2students.The logical reasoning ability of Grade 2 students with different academic levels is significantly different.(2)Grade 2 students' overall ability to solve mathematical situational problems is in the middle level; There is no obvious gender difference in the ability of grade 2 students to solve mathematical situational problems. There are significant differences in the ability of grade 2 students to solve mathematical situation problems under different academic levels.(3)The logical reasoning ability of Grade 2 students is positively correlated with the ability to solve mathematical situational problems, and the correlation is moderate.(4)There are significant differences in the ability of grade 2 students in different logical reasoning groups to solve mathematical situational problems; The performance of the high and low logical reasoning group fluctuated greatly, while the performance of the middle logical reasoning group was relatively stable. Therefore,in the teaching of mathematical situation problems, more attention should be paid to the cultivation of high and low logical reasoning group students' ability to solve mathematical situation problems. The logical reasoning ability of junior and grade 2 students has certain predictive and guiding significance in solving mathematical situation problems. Therefore, from the perspective of effectively improving the ability of junior middle school students to solve mathematical situation problems, the following mathematics classroom teaching strategies are proposed: In the practical mathematics classroom design teaching, teachers can not only pay attention to the creation of a practical teaching situation, but also pay more attention to the process of teaching and understand the mathematical thinking mode.Use ecclesiastical questions to train students to ask and answer questions effectively.Various variants are integrated into the classroom to enhance students' innovative mathematical thinking.
