Strengthening the training of students' mathematical abstraction and logical reasoning ability has an important influence on improving students' learning level,and more and more attention has been paid to it.The essence of mathematics is abstract.The key to learn mathematics well is to expand abstract thinking.Logical reasoning is an important content of mathematical ability.Interdisciplinary is its obvious feature,and its development is relatively long-term.Based on the characteristics of 8th grade students,strengthening the investigation and cultivation of their mathematical abstract ability and logical reasoning ability is helpful to guide 8th grade students to summarize good learning methods,which has practical significance.This research mainly adopts the data access method,questionnaire method and analysis method.Article first begins at inland and abroad related to historical documents and data,combined with textbook of seventh and eighth grade and grade eight mathematical teaching outline,the days of the concrete to divide eighth grade students' ability of mathematical abstraction,based on the characteristics of the teenager students are produced according to mathematical abstraction ability test,and analyzes the validity of the test results.At the same time,on the basis of the existing research on the logical reasoning ability of junior high school students,and verifies the previous conclusions.Finally,this paper studies the relationship between abstract ability,logical reasoning ability and academic achievement of eighth grade students in mathematics,analyzes the influence of abstract ability and logical reasoning ability on the achievement of mathematics,and puts forward relevant teaching suggestions.This paper mainly chooses a junior high school in Hulun Buir,Inner Mongolia as the research object,and randomly selects part of the junior high school students to conduct a questionnaire survey.This questionnaire survey is mainly a test of abstract ability and logical reasoning ability of 8th grade students.The results show that there are significant differences in mathematical abstract ability and logical reasoning ability of students,and the validity of the test results is analyzed by introducing SPSS software.In general,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The development level of mathematical abstract ability and logical reasoning ability of 8th grade students in this school is low;(2)The mathematical abstract ability and logical reasoning ability of thee students have nothing to do with their gender;(3)Students in the experimental class had higher mathematical abstract ability and logical reasoning ability than those in the ordinary class;(4)The mathematical abstract ability of 8th grade students is significantly correlated with logical reasoning ability;(5)The mathematical abstract ability and logical reasoning ability of 8th grade students are correlated with their mathematical achievements;(6)The mathematical abstract ability and logical reasoning ability of 8th grade students have independent influence on their academic performance.Combined with the relevant materials an argumentation results,based on specific teaching cases,this paper consolidates and improves the mathematical abstract ability and logical reasoning ability to 8th grade students from four aspects:(1)With the help of intuitive operation,understanding of principle-type abstraction;(2)Pay attention to analysis transfer and strengthen deductive reasoning;(3)Strengthen mathematical abstraction and logical reasoning training;(4)Pay attention to the formation of other mathematical literacy.
