In 2017,the Ministry of Education regulated a new version of “Criteria for Chinese Curriculum in High School” in which experts put forward the concept of"Chinese core accomplishment” including how to cultivate and implement the"aesthetic appreciation and creation" and "cultural inheritance and understanding" in Chinese teaching,which aroused the author's attention and thinking.As the teaching of ancient poetry is a common vehicle for cultivating the two core literacies of"aesthetics" and "culture".Therefore,generally adopting the methods of literature research,text and case analysis and combining her own teaching practices,the author is targeted at exploring selected essays of ancient poetry in the edition textbooks and explores the theme of culture and aesthetic education in the teaching of ancient Chinese poetry in high school and achieves some research results.In the introduction,the author sorts out results on the current researches and existing shortcomings of ancient poetry culture education and aesthetic education in high school through exploring existing documents,and then determines the research direction of the combination of classical Chinese with poetry,cultural education and aesthetic education.In the first part,the author mainly expounds the concepts of "traditional culture","aesthetics" and "aesthetic appreciation ",explaining the necessity of inheriting Chinese excellent traditional culture and the significance of aesthetic education.The second part reflects on the existing problems in classical Chinese and poetry teaching,and analyzes the reasons.The third part compares the ancient poetic texts selected from the Ministry of Education's textbooks,organising the cultural and aesthetic resources contained in them from the perspectives of time and style,as well as the beauty of the text and the beauty of literature.The fourth part first puts forward the ways to implement cultural and aesthetic education from the common level,and also lists some methods because of the uniqueness of aesthetic education.
