| Now more and more parents of primary school students will encounter the problem that their children procrastinate on homework.Even if they sit beside their children to help them every day,they may not be able to change the problem that their children procrastinate on homework.Therefore,only to find out the real reason for children’s homework delay,according to the guidance,parent-child joint efforts to change the problem of children’s homework delay.This research adopts the research design of qualitative research combined with quantitative research.The purpose of the research is to understand the influencing factors of homework procrastination of primary school students through in-depth interviews with the research objects.To design the parent-child group counseling program according to the influencing factors;Through the implementation of parent-child group counseling program,test the effectiveness of the program.Study 1 is an interview study.A sample survey was carried out in two homework tutoring institutions in Nanjing and six classes in a primary school in Nanjing by issuing the Academic Prohibition Scale(Student Edition),and 122 pupils were randomly selected to issue the questionnaire.The test is conducted by the researcher,with the cooperation of the head teacher,and the students are instructed to complete the test on the spot and recycle it.The top 8 students with high scores were selected according to the ranking from high to low of the procrastination scale.The students were asked about their willingness to accept the interview,and their parents were contacted to ask about their willingness to accept the interview,which were all approved.According to the research topic,age characteristics of primary school students and parents’ homework guidance,"Outline of Interviews on Primary School Students’ Homework Prohibition" was compiled.The parents and children involved in the study were interviewed in depth for 2-3 times in each group,and each time lasted1.5-2 hours.A total of 8 groups of parents and children were interviewed.Starting from the original data,researchers coded the word-by-word draft with NVIVO12 software,analyzed the data from the bottom to the top,and then extracted15 influencing factors of homework delay of primary school students by clustering according to the method of category analysis.In order to ensure the effect of parent-child group counseling intervention,according to the operability of the factors and the sensitivity of short-term intervention,through the analysis and discussion of the research team,six influencing factors were selected as the basis for the design of parent-child group counseling intervention program.Study two is the parent-child group counseling intervention research.Based on the results of the first study,a specific and feasible parent-child group tutoring program was designed aiming at the six influencing factors of homework procrastination of primary school students selected from the first study.Among the parent-child groups participating in the interview,4 parent-child groups were randomly selected to form the intervention group in the form of voluntary registration,and the remaining 4 parent-child groups were used as the control group.In the second study,the parents of the intervention group were given group tutoring once a week,8times in total,and each time was about 60 minutes.After the parent-child group counseling,quantitative and qualitative analysis was adopted to evaluate the overall counseling effect and test the effectiveness and continuity of the program.At the end of parent-child group counseling,the control group was given the same parent-child group counseling.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Through in-depth interviews with the research objects,15 factors affecting homework procrastination of primary school students are extracted.Among them,5factors are related to children: attention,physical and mental development characteristics,learning habits,interests and hobbies,and time management and distribution;There are six factors for parents: tutoring methods and skills,parenting ideas,tutoring mentality,behavior habits,education level,trust;There are four factors related to homework and external environment: family upbringing environment(parents’ professional background,family economy,member structure,primary caregivers,etc.),homework environment,homework task difficulty,and children’s relationship with teachers and peers(including teachers’ support and peers’ influence).(2)according to the factors of operability and sensitivity to the short-term intervention,choose the child’s attention,the child’s study habits,the child’s time allocation management,the guidance of the parents’ guidance methods and skills,attitude,parents’ behavior,a total of six factors as interference factors,for these six factors affecting the design for 8 weeks,Weekly parent-child group counseling program.(3)The test results show that the parent-child group tutoring program can effectively reduce the degree of homework procrastination of primary school students.A follow-up study one month after the end of the experiment proved that the parent-child group counseling program designed in this study to intervene primary school students’ homework procrastination had a long-term and stable impact on the study subjects. |
