Education is a crucial part of social modernization.In the process of pursuing highquality education,education modernization presents its diverse and unique properties with respect to different locations and periods.The urban areas of large cities are the role model in the education revolution because of their advantages in economic growth and education foundation.However,in the process of urban development,there are still multiple issues that remained unsolved which requires additional effort and attention.This study is conducted at Z District of Y City,in which data was collected through interviews,questionnaire surveys,and literature research.Furthermore,the study adopts root theory to combine and refine the text content with NVivo12.0 software,and it ultimately leads to an analytical framework of "situation-challenge-response".Specifically,the author describes the process of urbanization construction and education modernization in Z District,explores the formation and transformation of educational advantages in a variety of situations,outlines the trend of education reform and development in the response to the problem,reveals the development dilemma of the mode of education modernization in the urban area of the large city,and calls for breakthrough methods.With the rapid development of our society,Z District is currently facing multiple stringent challenges including population explosion,economic stagnation,and space shortage.This gradually makes Z District lose its advantages in education while causing uneven distribution of educational resources.To maintain its leading position in regional education,Z District relies on coping strategies of ego depletion to solve the problems of regional education planning,education funding,balanced distribution of education,teacher team construction,and education quality improvement.However,unconscious path dependence,over-intensive education development,and closed education circle make Z District's education modernization model show the involution characteristics of closeness,singleness,and involution based on the past.To eliminate the negative impacts of the involution of education mode,we need to promote the modernization of education in the urban area with breakthrough thinking.Aiming at the formation mechanism of internalization,we can try to promote the formation of a new education development mode with innovative,open-minded,and visional thinking.First,both the purpose of education reform and the current stage of education development should be clear.Second,in terms of investment and security,the supply should be reformed to meet the growing demand as required by education development.Third,adequate strategies are required to accelerate the construction of school groups and encourage teacher mobility.Fourth,we should continue strengthening teachers and developing education,ensuring a sufficient number of teachers,and promoting the professional development of the team.Fifth,we should build new advantages,formulate scientific quality standards,and use information technology to promote regional education to achieve high-quality development.
