With the rapid rise of China’s economy and the rising of international status,people all over the world have gradually discovered China as a huge market.Compared with the past,international friends are more and more willing to come to China to study,work and develop.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,their enthusiasm for learning Chinese has not decreased,but has continued to heat up.In the teaching Chinese as a foreign language,Chinese character teaching is an essential part.It can effectively help learners to improve their written expression and reading ability and avoid illiterate teaching.The author went to Cambodia in August 2019 to carry out a one-year teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In the local practice teaching,the author found that the students of Chongzheng School in Cambodia who have studied Chinese characters for many years still have some problems in their writing.The errors in the process of writing Chinese characters occur from time to time,and the reasons behind them are worth exploring.Therefore,this paper aims at Chongzheng School in Cambodia,taking the sixth grade(1)class of the school year 2019-2020 as the research object.Collecting,sorting,classifying,statistics and analyzing the Chinese character writing errors in the students’ notes,homework,examination papers and compositions have been completed.In this paper,from the three angles of stroke error,component error and whole word error conduct this research.The errors of stroke are divided into the following seven subcategories: deformation,increase,decrease,error disconnection,false connection,matching error and stroke error.The errors of component classes are also divided into seven categories: increase,decrease,misuse,position exchange,structural change,improper spacing and imbalance of proportion.The errors of the whole word class are divided into the following four subcategories: the phonetic homonym,the form,the phonetic form and the meaning,a total of 18 subcategories.Based on the results of the questionnaire,this paper attempts to explore the causes of errors in Chinese character writing in Chongzheng school students from the aspects of their mother tongue,the characteristics of Chinese characters themselves,teachers,students,teaching materials,etc.At the same time,the author also hopes that the results of this paper can provide some reference for the future Chinese teacher volunteers or other scholars interested in the writing of Chinese characters of Cambodian students in the teaching and research of Chinese characters. |
