In the whole basic curriculum system,junior high school mathematics is the key to optimize students' thinking and improve their problem-solving ability.In the practice of basic education reform,the dominant position of students can be confirmed,and junior high school mathematics should also try to highlight the dominant position of students on the basis of combining the characteristics of the subject,so as to improve the teaching effectiveness.Situational teaching method is widely used in junior high school mathematics teaching practice,which is mainly because situational teaching method has the advantages of strong interest,highlighting participation and emphasizing practice.Situational teaching method fits junior high school students' cognitive law,can effectively activate students' enthusiasm to participate in mathematics research,and fits the important concept of "mathematics life" in mathematics curriculum reform.Therefore,it is of great significance to fully tap the schoolbased advantages,combine the learning situation of students in different grades and classes,and build life-oriented mathematics classroom with the help of situational teaching method,so as to promote the efficient combination of junior high school mathematics learning with students' real life and specific situations,so as to exercise junior high school students' abstract thinking ability and improve their comprehensive quality.Based on the research methods including literature research method and experimental research method,the paper analyzes the application background of situational teaching method based on the reality of junior high school mathematics teaching,and puts forward the assumption of applying situational teaching method in mathematics classroom teaching,so as to effectively improve the effectiveness of mathematics teaching.In the paper,the connotation of situational teaching method is clearly defined,the implementation principle of situational teaching method is briefly explained,the application status of situational teaching method in mathematics teaching at home and abroad is studied,and the theoretical basis of this study is elaborated.This study puts forward the specific implementation ways from the content,material and management of situational teaching method,and analyzes the relevant cases.In this study.the design and process of the experiment are described in detail.Combined with the different data obtained before and after the experiment,the changes of students' learning ability and learning interest are analyzed.It is found that the students' learning interest and learning achievement are significantly enhanced after the application of situational teaching method.Finally,the study draws the following conclusions:situational teaching method plays a significant role in activating students' interest in mathematics learning,and the use of situational teaching method can effectively improve junior high school students' mathematics learning level.At the end of the paper,it analyzes the improvement of this study,puts forward reasonable suggestions and looks forward to the future research direction.
