Study Of The Educational Function Of The High School Mathematics Thinking In Images

Mathematics is an extremely abstract subject. Therefore the study of mathematics needs relatively strong abstract ideation. For a long time, people mainly pay attention to the study of mathematics abstract thinking , while rarely care for mathematics visual thinking. According to the characters of senior high school students' thinking develop , they should experience the transition process from visual thinking to abstract thinking during studying mathematics. The transition should run through the whole process of senior high school mathematics study, which will influence the develop of senior high school students' mathematics ideation, and result in serous study burden, and affect the latter study, if it is not proceeded scientifically. Starting from this worry, this paper first demonstrates the meanings, characteristics and classifications of mathematics visual thinking; then makes some theory research on how to exert the education function of mathematics visual thinking. Based on the theory guidance, a mass of education practice are carried on. And by using a typical education case I illustrate how to sufficiently utilize the dominance of visualize thinking and the good effect generated by it in classroom teaching; finally, the dominance and significance of thinking problems by using visual thinking are pointed out by the statistics analysis of the former and latter grades, and it arises people's recognition on the educational function of mathematics visual thinking ,which can promote the introjections of students' mathematics visual thinking and abstract thinking, and improve students' whole ideation.
