The influencing factors and paths of rural children’s growth have a certain degree of complexity.Their various performances in schools and the problems encountered by school teachers are inherently related to their family parenting methods. This research mainly uses qualitative research methods.Researchers use field observations, questionnaire surveys and interviews to gain in-depth understanding of rural children and their families, experience their real growth experience, and strive to discover and analyze problems on the basis of empathy and understanding. The researcher chose a typical six-three rural school that is also his alma mater as the research site.Firstly,by recording and analyzing various typical events experienced by rural children,we can fully demonstrate their true growth process as much as possible;then, from the perspectives of teachers, schools, and parents,we explore the influence of both parties in the growth process of rural children. On this basis, taking home visits that act as a bridge in home-school communication as the main body of description,it explores the actual operation of home visits in rural education from the five aspects of the nature, characteristics, intermediary, leading and content of home visits in rural schools. Finally, based on an in-depth analysis of the existing survey content, the researchers explored the mechanism of home-school co-education in the growth of rural children from multiple perspectives, and made relevant recommendations:(1)Rural parents should focus on two key roles in the growth of rural children;(2)Build a home-school co-education mechanism with the school as the main body;(3)The higher-level competent authorities, the government and the society escort the development of rural education.
