Education is a practical activity based on belief.Teachers' educational beliefs can reflect their spiritual pursuit and goal of education,regulate and control teachers' educational behavior,and are also important factors that affect teachers' professional development.At present,most of the researches on teachers' educational beliefs focus on teachers' group,but less on teachers' individual,especially rural teachers' individual.Based on this,this article mainly uses the narrative research method,the Union interview method and the observation method,through enters a rural primary school teacher's real life,collects the massive data,and makes the analysis on this basis,this paper explores the educational beliefs of a teacher in a rural primary school ——Z,who has been working in a rural primary school for more than 15 years.It is found that teacher Z has a belief in the purpose of education to cultivate people who possess both moral and talent.As for teacher,teacher Z shows a love of education and sets an example for students to reflect on and learn from,with love and responsibility to protect the students;with regard to the students,teacher Z shows that she insists on human kindness,that every student has his own characteristics and needs to develop in an all-round way,and that she treats every student equally,the environment is the cause of the students' problems;in the aspect of curriculum and teaching,teacher Z shows that curriculum as a resource for students to improve their abilities should be adjusted according to the actual situation,the teaching process focuses on the content of the examination,mainly on teaching methods and practice methods,in the face of different students will also teach students in accordance with their aptitude.The educational beliefs of teacher Z are mainly scientific and reasonable,but there are still some unreasonable elements.The reason is influenced by the teacher's personality,educational experience,educational practice and other factors.Finally,based on the results of the study,some suggestions are put forward from the perspectives of teachers,schools and colleges: teachers should insist on learning and reflect on educational practice in time to revise their educational beliefs;We should guide teachers to form scientific educational beliefs and strengthen normal education in colleges and universities so as to lay a foundation for the formation of scientific educational beliefs.
