Ideological work is an extremely important work of the party.It is the work of setting the mind for the country and the soul of the nation.To do ideological work well is related to the future and destiny of the party,to the long-term stability of the country,and to national cohesion and centripetal force.Colleges and universities shoulder the task of training talents and socialist successors.How to implement the party's education policy and do a good job in ideological work is the top priority for the state to train talents.In the new media era,universities have become the places for cultural and academic exchanges between East and West.The information that college students have access to in campus comes from all over the world.College students have more opportunities to contact the impact of non mainstream ideas from different aspects,and are easily guided by the wrong ideology of the outside world.As a freshman who has just entered the university campus,it is in the critical period of vague ideological cognition,setting up correct values,outlook on life and world outlook.Therefore,it is very important to do well in ideological work of Freshmen in the new media era.This paper aims to study the new media era freshmen ideological work leading countermeasures,through the new media era of information dissemination methods,communication characteristics and the new media era on the ideological work of colleges and universities,as well as freshman's psychological behavior,ideological behavior were carefully studied and summarized,and through the way of questionnaire in-depth analysis of the new media era First,the new ideological work leads to the existing challenges and deficiencies.The challenges and deficiencies of ideological work of Freshmen in the new media era mainly include the following aspects: the ways and methods of ideological education for freshmen are too traditional;the discourse right of Marxism in Colleges and universities is challenged in the new media era;freshman's awareness of mainstream ideology is not enough;and the construction of ideological work of new media in Colleges and universities is insufficient.In order to better guide the ideological work of freshmen,this paper proposes solutions from the following aspects: first,innovate the theoretical learning methods of ideological education for freshmen in the new media era,combine the new media and ideological education;second,build the discourse power of Marxism under the platform of new media in Colleges and Universities,and enhance the mainstream of our country The propaganda of ideology in Colleges and universities can enhance freshman's cognition of China's mainstream consciousness;the third is to optimize the guarantee facilities for freshman's ideological work,including strengthening the strength of ideological work team,strengthening the construction of ideological work platform and strengthening the supervision of freshman's ideological safety.The new media era is a new era and a challenging one.New media into all aspects of people's life,into every corner of the campus.The ideological work in Colleges and universities should also "keep pace with the times and be innovative",innovate ideological working methods,strengthen the propaganda and education of mainstream ideology,and stick to the important position of university ideology,so as to cultivate excellent college students with excellent morality,intelligence,physique and beauty for China.
