The vast territory of China and the different geographical environments have led to the formation of many distinctive ethnic regional cultures,and it is the responsibility of each ethnic group's future generations to preserve and pass on their cultures.As a powerful way to preserve and pass on culture,educators in many disciplines are exploring the role of ethnic native culture in teaching and learning,and using this platform to make the native culture spread effectively.Li instrumental music is one of the traditional cultures of Hainan,and is a representative and symbol of Li musical culture,and its bamboo and wood instruments are listed as national intangible cultural heritage.For the local schools in Hainan,the Li instrumental music culture as an entry point into the high school music classroom,not only can enrich the content of music teaching,but also easy to stimulate students' interest in the classroom,develop students' musical horizons,so that they know more about their hometown,so that the Li instrumental music culture is widely spread and protected and inherited.Therefore,the author analyzes the feasibility of this study through a practical study of teaching Li instrumental music into high school classrooms,and also prepares a set of teaching design for Li instrumental music appreciation class,aiming to provide effective experience for future Li instrumental music related courses.This paper is divided into six parts: introduction,four chapters,and conclusion.The introductory section describes the origin,content and methodology,purpose and significance of this study,and the current status of the research.The first section analyzes the cultural content of the Li instrumental music curriculum and its pedagogical value;the second section analyzes the feasibility of this study through the basis of national educational documents and data from survey reports;the third section presents the author's pedagogical design of Li instrumental music in high school music classrooms and the analysis of teaching practices in local schools;the fourth section presents the author's reflections,suggestions,and outlook on this study.
