With the advancement of the new curriculum reform,educational concepts are constantly updated.The development of school-based curriculum is to complement the national curriculum and local curriculum,to develop art courses based on the learning and cognitive characteristics of middle school students.and to promote art education to adapt to the local teaching environment,The paper quilling class is to teach students to make various shapes through rolling,pinching,and sticking techniques,to give full play to the students' imagination and to exercise their hands-on ability.This article is a school-based course developed by integrating Hainan's local regional culture to develop paper quilling craftsmanship,which not only cultivates students' aesthetic perception,but also cultivates humanistic spirit.This subject research is mainly divided into six parts for discussion.The first part mainly discusses the topic selection background,theoretical basis,domestic and foreign research status,research methods and innovations of paper quilling craftsmanship.The second part mainly discusses the value analysis of paper quilling craftsmanship as a school-based art course.,To discuss the value and significance of the development of paper quilling craftsmanship;the third part is to understand the proportion of paper quilling in the junior high school art school-based curriculum through questionnaires,to grasp the familiarity of paper quilling and the cognitive characteristics of students,The analysis based on the results of the questionnaire survey lays the foundation for the curriculum design;the fourth part elaborates the basic principles and curriculum design of the school-based curriculum development of paper quilling handicraft art;the fifth part,mainly the teaching practice part,elaborates the paper quilling handicraft in the middle school art school.The practical exploration in the course divides the teaching content and teaching design from four learning areas;the sixth part is the reflection and prospect of the paper quilling handicraft as the teaching practice of the school-based art course.Innovation:1.The quilling handicraft is a new handicraft introduced from abroad,and at the same time it integrates into the local natural landscape to develop courses that students are interested in.2.The development of quilling handicraft courses is still lacking in primary and secondary schools.Therefore,the research has certain value and significance.Innovate teaching content and expand the horizons of junior high school students.3.The characteristics of quilling paper with changeable shapes and bright colors can also attract the attention of students,thereby cultivating their aesthetic perception.
