A Study On The Quality Assurance System Of Research University Courses In The UK

The curriculum is the foundation of the university education,the curriculum quality is the important guarantee of the university education teaching quality,the research university,represented by Oxford University,has established and improved the university's curriculum quality guarantee system,the use of this system has enabled the research university to maintain the quality of its programmes.In order to explore the way to improve the system construction of college curriculum quality guarantee system and the methods to improve the quality of college curriculum,this paper examines the institutional texts and literature relating to the external curriculum quality assurance system of the research university and the internal curriculum quality assurance system of the University of Oxford,taking Oxford University as an example,this paper introduces the structure and elements of the curriculum of the research university,and summarizes the historical development and schools of the British higher education quality assurance system,this paper analyzes the policy support,organizational structure and system composition of the internal and external curriculum quality assurance system of the research university.The implementation of the curriculum quality assurance system in the research university has enhanced the status and quality of the curriculum in higher education,and promoted the self-supervision and self-management of the curriculum quality within universities,so that the needs of students in colleges and universities and learning experience to get attention and meet and improve the learning effect.The research university is also working to improve its quality assurance system,moving towards higher quality,public friendliness and a student centre.The research university's curriculum quality assurance system is based on the pursuit of excellence in curriculum quality,in the form of an open and transparent curriculum process management,with an integrated internal and external assurance system,emphasizing the deep involvement of multiple stakeholders and focusing on the improvement of students' learning outcomes and learning experiences,which can provide inspiration for China to update the objectives of curriculum quality management conceptually,enhancing information disclosure for quality assurance,using process management forms,promoting the systematic integration of internal and external systems,and encouraging the deep participation of multiple stakeholders on the basis of their current participation,in the assessment process,the improvement of students' learning results should be paid attention to,so as to optimize the current course quality assurance system.
