The history of chemistry records the development of chemistry from the perspective of history,and records in detail how chemistry develops from the bud to the vigorous independent discipline.Chemistry history education is an effective way to improve students' scientific literacy.Showing scientists' scientific research process and problem-solving process into classroom teaching can not only promote students' ability cultivation,but also enable students to experience the rigorous theoretical reasoning of chemical researchers.In 2017,the Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools was released,which updated the curriculum content and made it clear that the chemistry education for ordinary senior high schools should develop students' core literacy and enhance their comprehensive ability.With the comprehensive release of the new edition of the compulsory high school chemistry textbooks of PEP in 2019,a new round of curriculum reform has been started all over the country.The contents and their presentation and arrangement related to the history of chemistry in the new textbooks based on the new curriculum standard directly affect the educational value of the history of chemistry.To better practice the core quality of chemistry of the new curriculum standard and realize the teaching conversion of the old and new textbooks on chemistry history.This paper will compare the content of chemistry history of the required modules in the new and old textbooks,and study the integration of chemistry history into the classroom teaching of the2019 edition of compulsory No.1 Middle School.This paper aims to explore the characteristics of the content of chemistry history in the new edition of the required chemistry textbooks and provide reference for teachers in teaching.The content of this paper consists of the following parts:Part I: Introduction.This paper introduces the background,purpose and significance of chemical history research.Based on the theory of constructivism,the theory of zone of proximal development and the theory of humanism,this paper applies literature analysis method,comparative research method,questionnaire survey method and case study method for research and analysis.The second part: the definition and research review of chemical history.Through consulting,collecting,sorting out the literature,the definition of chemistry history,textbooks and other concepts and the introduction of theoretical basis.The third part: the comparison of the history of chemistry in the new and old compulsory textbooks.This paper analyzes the new and old textbooks' compulsory course 1 and 2 from the aspects of the presentation form,involved content and arrangement.The content of chemistry history in the new textbook covers the content required by the new curriculum standard,which greatly increases the quantity of chemistry history content compared with the old textbook.The textbook has updated the column on the presentation of chemistry history,which is more in line with students' emotional and psychological development.The distribution of each chapter of chemistry history in the required textbooks has also been adjusted,and the content of chemistry history has been added or decreased according to the difficulty of the teaching content.The new textbooks adjust the content of chemistry history more in line with the "chemistry core literacy" proposed by the new curriculum standard.Part four: Questionnaire survey.The author made a questionnaire to investigate the application of the new version of the first compulsory textbook of Chemistry History,taking some of the high school students as the research objects.The survey results showed that for the first time to use the new textbooks,the students of high school showed a positive attitude towards the teaching of chemistry history,abandoned the idea that chemistry history is irrelevant to further study,and believed that the use of chemistry history in the classroom can deepen the study of chemical concept theory.Part V: The application strategy of chemical history.Based on the analysis of textbooks and questionnaires,this paper puts forward the application strategies of chemistry history teaching in the required modules of new textbooks.The sixth part: conclusion and suggestion.The compilation of the content of chemistry history in the new version of the compulsory high school chemistry module of PEP is more in line with the "core quality of chemistry" proposed by the new curriculum standard.When the content of the new and old textbooks is converted,teachers can rationally use the history of chemistry only when they are clear about the conversion of the content of chemistry history in the new and old textbooks.By comparing the old and new textbooks and analyzing the application status of chemistry history in the new textbooks,the author puts forward some suggestions on how to better apply chemistry history in teaching for the reference of front-line teachers.
