Since the 1920 s,local novels have occupied an important position in the history of modern Chinese literature.Many writers have devoted themselves to the creation of local novels,and "local" has become an enduring literary theme.In the 1920 s,the vernacular novels of Wang Luyan and others criticized the ignorance and backwardness of "old China".In the 1930 s,Mao Dun's rural novels truly recorded the influence of realpolitik on rural areas.Shen Congwen contrasted the alienation of urban modern modernity with the simple and pure "West Hunan World".In the 1940 s,Zhao Shuli,Ma Feng and Sun Qian paid close attention to the peasants' real life and created a large number of rural novels.Entering the new period,the "new vernacular novel" is also wonderful.Along with the advancement of education reform,more emphasis on Chinese teaching should close to student life and adapt to students' development,the "native" as a theme which reflects the social reality,is an indispensable part of the language teaching material.This paper makes an overall analysis of the local novels in several editions of high school Chinese textbooks,and makes clear the important position of the local novels in high school Chinese teaching.The study of modern local novels is helpful for students to understand regional culture and increase their knowledge.It is beneficial to cultivate students' aesthetic consciousness and enhance students' aesthetic ability.Therefore,local novels play a very important role and significance in high school Chinese teaching.Paper native novel in the high school language teaching material systematically comb,emphatically analyses the vernacular novel in the language classroom teaching practice,aiming at existing problems put forward the feasible suggestion.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part mainly discusses the reasons for selecting the topic,the research status quo,the research significance and the research methods.The second part has carried on the overall analysis to the local novels in the high school Chinese textbooks.The third part uses the questionnaire survey method to study the teaching status of local novels in high school Chinese class.The fourth part aims at the problems existing in classroom teaching,and puts forward teaching suggestions from three aspects of teaching content,teaching methods and local courses.
