The new college entrance examination evaluation system puts forward the core functions of "cultivating talents by virtue,serving talents selection and guiding teaching".This paper attempts to apply the "reverse design" mode studied by American education experts Wiggins and Mc Tighe to the geography teaching of senior high schools in China.Starting from adjusting the order of teaching design,following the order of "determining teaching objectives-designing evaluation evidence-creating teaching activities",this paper puts the design teaching evaluation before the teaching activities,and promotes the integration of teaching,learning and evaluation.By using the methods of literature research,expert consultation,action research and interview,this paper makes a theoretical and practical study on the application of reverse design in senior geography teaching.Analyze the current research situation at home and abroad,and make clear the starting point of this study.Under the guidance of the reverse design mode,the author chooses the new curriculum standard of senior high school geography as the basis,constructivism theory,Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory and Piaget’s cognitive development stage theory as the theoretical basis,and selects the three compulsory courses of senior high school geography,desertification prevention and control Taking Northwest China as an example,this paper explores the performance of reverse design in senior geography teaching.Reverse design mode is still at the initial level in high school geography teaching.This paper attempts to apply reverse design to high school geography teaching.In the process of application,it finds its shortcomings and puts forward corresponding implementation strategies.On the one hand,it enriches the selection of teachers’ classroom teaching methods,on the other hand,it provides reference for later scholars to carry out relevant research.
