Study On Quality Control Of Localgovernment Statistical Data

In recent years,the attention of all walks of life to the government statistical data has been generally improved,at the same time,the query of the government statistical data is also continuous.The Statistics Department of local government is the most critical and core link to implement the national and provincial statistical work deployment,and also the first gatekeeper to ensure the quality of the basic level government statistical data,which plays an important role in connecting the preceding and the following.Therefore,taking the local government statistical data management as the starting point has important practical significance for the research of the quality management of the government statistical data in China.On the one hand,from the perspective of statistical practitioners,this paper discusses the present situation of the government statistical work of Y City,the main problems existing in the quality of government statistical data and their causes;on the other hand,by learning the statistical system and experience of statistical data quality management in the United States,Britain,based on the theory of total quality management,this paper explores the ways to strengthen the quality control of government statistical data in order to improve the quality of government statistical data and enhance the credibility of government statistics from the aspects of management and construction of grass-roots statistical teams,promotion of statistical management system reform,reform of statistical methods and system,and construction of statistical rule of law.
