The connection between childhood and primary school is an important turning point in children's development.In the transition period from kindergarten to primary school,children's educational needs,adaptability,psychological state and learning habits will affect their future study and life.By using the methods of literature review,comparative study,questionnaire survey,observation and interview,this paper interviewed 6-7-year-old children in two kindergartens and two primary schools in Tianjiaan District of Huainan City,Anhui Province,and 7-8-year-old children in the first grade of primary school Senior primary school physical education teachers,physical education teaching professional professors conducted an exclusive interview,analyzed the current situation of the convergence of primary and secondary physical education,found out the relevant problems,and proposed solutions.Based on the perspective of children,this paper expounds the main problems existing in the connection of physical education teaching in primary and secondary schools from five dimensions: teaching content,teaching mode,performance evaluation,teachers' professional background and interest cultivation: 1.There is no connection between the teaching contents of physical education in kindergarten and primary school.2.There are great differences in the teaching mode of kindergarten and primary school.3.There are different evaluation standards for children's performance.4.There is a lack of physical education teachers connecting kindergarten and primary school.5.Children's interest in sports is restricted by schoolwork pressure.Based on the perspective of children,the solutions to the problem of the convergence of physical education in kindergarten are as follows: 1.Set up the physical education class in kindergarten.2.Different teaching modes should be integrated in the kindergarten primary school curriculum.3.Diversified evaluation of the results of physical education in the connection of kindergarten and primary school.4.The Department in charge of education should strengthen the training of teachers.5.Physical education teachers should stimulate children's interest in sports.6.Education departments,kindergartens and families should be linked in multiple ways.
