Ancient poetry is the model and essence of China's Chinese language and literature.It plays an immeasurable role in improving the spiritual realm,shaping the personality,cultivating the emotion,nourishing the aesthetic taste,improving the cultural quality,and inheriting the culture.Learning and appreciating ancient poetry is not only required in the C hinese curriculum standard of ordinary senior high school,but also the difficulty of C hinese in college entrance examina tion.All along,the score of ancient poetry appreciation in college entrance examination is low.Appreciation of ancient poetry is like a rose with thorns.It is difficult for students to pick it off easily and put it into their own pocket.What hinders the improvement of senior high school students' ability to appreciate ancient poetry,which makes the teaching of ancient poetry appreciation in trouble? How can teachers help students improve their ability to appreciate ancient poetry?On the basis of reading the C hinese curriculum standard for senior high school and the Chinese textbook published by people's education press,this paper analyzes the teaching objectives and contents of ancient poetry appreciation in senior high school and its educational value for senior high school students.This paper explores the ability requirements of senior high school students in the appreciation of ancient poetry,that is,the image,language,expression skills,as well as the thoughts and feelings of the works.Combined with the students' appreciation of ancient poetry,the contents of allusions,images,artistic conception,artistic skills and other aspects are appreciated.The factors that constitute the ability of appreciating ancient poetry are analyzed,that is,the ability of reading comprehension,associative imagination and organizing language expression.In the form of questionnaire survey,this paper investigates the current situation of senior high school students' ancient poetry appreciation ability,analyzes the problems and deficiencies existing in the teaching of ancient poetry appreciation of senior high school students,draws lessons from other people's existing research results,and summarizes his own teaching experience for many years,After teaching practice,we find a new way to get out of the dilemma of the teaching of ancient poetry appreciation in senior high school.We put forward three major breakthroughs in the teaching of ancient poetry appreciation ability and two ways for teachers to improve their own quality,forming a teaching strategy to improve senior high school students' ancient poetry appreciation ability.
