Research On Group Work Of Community Elderly Volunteers' Service Capacity Building

Under the background of social governance in the new era,the community elderly group has become the main group of community voluntary service.However,at this stage,the development of social work and community voluntary service are facing different degrees of difficulties.How social workers lead community elderly volunteers and improve their service quality has become the direction of research and discussion.The main research problems of this paper are as follows: first,describe the service object and service content of community elderly volunteers,and analyze the lack of service ability of community elderly volunteers and its reasons;Secondly,the elderly volunteers in D community were selected as the service objects to evaluate their service ability;Third,try to use group work to build the service ability of elderly volunteers,so as to improve their community service ability.The first chapter describes the status of voluntary service in D community;The second chapter analyzes the lack of ability of community elderly volunteers and its reasons,and then defines the problem and needs assessment;The third chapter is the work plan of the design group;The fourth chapter is the implementation process of the group work;The fifth chapter is the conclusion and evaluation of the case;Finally,summarize and reflect.In this paper,D community volunteers in the elderly volunteers as the service object,aims to guide volunteers through social work service capacity-building,better carry out community service.First of all,through home interview and questionnaire survey,to understand the status quo of community volunteer service,to clarify the service content and service object of elderly volunteers in D community;Then,the elderly volunteer group in D community was recruited,interviewed and distributed the self-evaluation form of service object ability,and the collected data were sorted out to evaluate the service ability of the elderly volunteers in D community and analyze the reasons,including the existing service ability and the lack of ability.Then the problem definition and needs assessment are carried out.The main needs are the cognitive ability of the concept of voluntary service,the needs of volunteers' general skills and the improvement of communication ability.On the basis of the above,the author uses the method of group work to intervene in the construction of community elderly volunteer service ability.From the perspective of empowerment,this paper uses communication theory and cognitive behavior theory to help elderly volunteers achieve personal and interpersonal empowerment and make up for their own ability defects.The author designed the working plan of the group in detail and carried out seven group activities in three stages.The results show that group work has a certain effect in the intervention of community elderly volunteer service capacity building.Finally,the author summarizes and evaluates the whole practice process,and puts forward some suggestions on the construction of elderly volunteer service ability.In addition,this paper also explores the "social workers + volunteers" linkage service mode,trying to build a theoretical analysis framework model,and gradually thinking deeply about the construction of community governance system.
