A Social Work Intervention Study On Community Cultural Self-organization Participating In Community Elderly Care Service

The issue of elderly care is becoming a focus of social and public attention along with the increasing degree of aging.Community-based elderly care can help to meet the diversified needs of the elderly and play an important role in the elderly service system because it has many characteristics such as public welfare and self-governance,and can reduce the burden of the government on the elderly.The author selects Z community in W county as the research object,and uses field research method and literature research method under the theoretical framework of "asset-based" community development model,and conducts an in-depth analysis of the current situation and dilemma of Z community cultural self-organization participation in community elderly service activities,hoping to find the strategies and paths for social work intervention in community cultural self-organization participation in community elderly service.The study found that although the current community cultural self-organizational activities in the Z community are not as good as the current community cultural self-organizational activities in the Z community,they are not as good as the current one.The study found that although the community cultural self-organization has received attention and development in the community elderly service,there are still problems such as insufficient support,single project of participating in community activities,indifferent relationship between self-organization,internal management confusion,lack of professional ability of members,and insufficient ability of resource integration.Therefore,based on the theoretical basis of "asset-based" community development model,the author starts from three stages of service target identification and professional relationship establishment,community activities to help cultural self-organizations participate in community elderly services,and social work intervention effectiveness evaluation.In the process of practice,we mainly use the professional method of community social work,combine the existing resources in and out of the community to provide professional services for the clients through several community activities,and build a path for the community cultural self-organization to participate in community elderly care services: first,clarify the leading function of the government and enhance the support for the cultural self-organization;second,enhance the community construction and provide diversified services for the cultural self-organization;third,strengthen the resource integration ability of the cultural self-organization and establish a diversified sharing mechanism;fourth,strengthen the capacity building of the self-organization and enhance the professional relationship between the cultural self-organization and the social work.Fourth,strengthen the capacity building of self-organizations and enhance the professionalism of social work.It is hoped that this study will help community cultural self-organizations to better participate in community cultural elderly service activities and promote the prosperous development of communities as well as community elderly care.
