As an activity-based teaching method proposed by “The Ideological and Political Curriculum Standard for Senior High School(2017)”,“topic-based teaching” creates a situation close to students' real life through the introduction,guidance and discussion of the topic,and enables student to develop key capacities and the qualities in the life-long sense of development required by society through communication,cooperation and discussion in the atmosphere of equal and harmonious.Meanwhile,it is important for schools to implement the fundamental task of building strong moral character,which is conducive to promoting the changes of teachers' teaching methods and students' learning methods,and also promoting the improvement of subject core literacy.Based on the analysis of the reasons and significance of the topic selection,the research methods and difficulties are determined,the research status of topic-based teaching at home and abroad is reviewed.After getting the development status of topic-based teaching,the researcher carries out the action research on topic-based teaching to senior high school ideological and political course from the following four aspects:In chapter one,the researcher presents the definition of “topic-based teaching”through classifying the definition of the topic,the question,the talk,and the theme.Furthermore,the researcher summarizes the characteristics of the topic-based teaching and explains the relationship between the topic-based teaching of ideological and political course in senior high school and action research.Moreover,the necessity of the implementation of the topic-based teaching in the ideological and political course in senior high school is analyzed.In chapter two,the researcher studies the application of topic-based teaching to ideological and political course in senior high school through three rounds of action research,and analyzes the practical significance of topic-based teaching to ideological and political course in senior high school,in order to provide the practical experience for the application of topic-based teaching to ideological and political course in senior high school.In chapter three,the researcher summarizes the problems on the three rounds of action research on the topic-based teaching of ideological and political course in senior high school,which are the lacking of students' participation ability,the lacking of awareness of teachers' organization and implementation the topic-based teaching,the lacking of structured subject knowledge and the single type of teaching activities.The reasons of the above problems are analyzed.It is considered that the reasons are mainly concentrated in students,teachers and activity design.In chapter four,the researcher puts forward the application strategies of topic-based teaching of ideological and political course in senior high school,including four aspects: improving teachers' teaching ability,broadening the content of topic selection,designing activities reasonably and improving students' comprehensive quality.
