In order to train qualified builders and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,we educators must adhere to the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people,and it is our responsibility to cultivate new generations who are responsible for national rejuvenation.In this context,the general high school ideological and political curriculum standard(2017 edition)clearly proposes to construct the high school ideological and political curriculum as an activity-based curriculum with the goal of cultivating the core literacy of the subject.With the continuous advancement of educational reforms and new curriculum standards,the characteristics and advantages of topic-based teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools have become more prominent.Therefore,it is necessary to work hard to make it an important starting point for constructing active courses in high school politics and an important method for cultivating students' core qualities.This research combines relevant domestic and foreign literature,starting the connotation,characteristics,theoretical basis and importance of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political courses,and uses questionnaire surveys to analyze the existing application of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political courses.Questions and put forward reasonable and effective use strategies.The topic-based teaching of high school ideological and political courses refers to the teaching method that high school ideological and political teachers create situations and carry out activities around topics,and give full play to the leadership of teachers and the initiative of students to cultivate students' core qualities.Topic-based teaching has distinct characteristics such as goal orientation,teacher-student interaction,comprehensive content,and practical process.As a new type of teaching method,topic-based teaching has a rich theoretical basis,including Marxist theory on the all-round development of human beings,constructivist theory,and humanistic theory.The Marxist theory of the all-round development of people emphasizes the need to focus on the all-round development of students,especially the cultivation of core values,which provides a theoretical basis for the topic-based teaching of ideological and political courses in high schools;constructivism and humanism emphasize the need to transform teachers and The concept of students,giving full play to the leading role of teachers and the subjectivity of students,provides a theoretical reference for the topic-based teaching of ideological and political courses in senior high schools.Therefore,the use of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political courses is conducive to constructing activity-based courses,improving teachers' comprehensive ability and cultivating students' core qualities.Based on the new requirements of the "New Curriculum Standard",and following the principle of unifying the ideological and political curriculum's dominance and subjectivity,using the questionnaire survey method,the Yiyang County Experimental Middle School,Yiyang County No.1 Middle School and Luoyang City,Luoyang City,Henan Province The teachers and students of the Second Foreign Language Middle School are the main research objects,investigating and researching the problems existing in the application of topic-based teaching in the current high school ideological and political courses.The survey founds that the main problems contain: teachers' lack of awareness of topic-based teaching,inappropriate topic selection and students' inadequacy of topic-based teaching in the preparation stage;relatively insufficient ability of teachers to apply topic-based teaching and student participation in issues at the operational stage In the evaluation stage,the enthusiasm of the topic-based teaching is not high enough;there are problems in the evaluation stage that the issue-based teaching evaluation system is not sound enough,teachers despise the issue-based teaching evaluation link,and the students' issue-based teaching evaluation ability is insufficient.The current problems in the application of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political courses are not conducive to improving the classroom effect of high school ideological and political courses,and it is also not conducive to achieving the teaching goal of cultivating students' core literacy.In order to smoothly and efficiently apply topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political courses,in view of the current problems in the preparation,operation and evaluation of topic-based teaching in high school ideological and political courses,based on consulting related documents,combined with high school politics According to the actual teaching situation,corresponding application strategies are proposed.It mainly includes the following three aspects: preparation strategy is to strengthen teachers' understanding of topic-based teaching,select appropriate and reasonable topics from multiple perspectives,and cultivate students' learning concepts of topic-based teaching;operating strategy is to improve teachers' ability to use topic-based teaching and inspire students Participate in the enthusiasm of topic-based teaching;evaluation strategy is to build a diversified topic-based teaching evaluation system,update teachers' concept of topic-based teaching evaluation and cultivate students' topic-based teaching evaluation ability.Finally,combined with the new curriculum standards and new textbooks,a teaching case is designed with "All People Obeying the Law" as an example,and strive to achieve a combination of theory and practice.
