In the Internet age,there are various forms of communicating scientific information,such as the Scientific Official Account,video,audio and other forms.Through the combination of new media and science writing,the communication and promotion of scientific knowledge can be realized.Regarding the article on the publicity of science communication,writers must not only present correct scientific knowledge,but also present argument arguments in a simple and understandable language.At the same time,they should consider how the text structure should be organized to clearly present the subject of scientific writing.At present,the research on scientific writing at home and abroad focuses on the study of scientific concepts,ignoring the communication of scientific knowledge,which shows the importance of cultivating students'science writing ability in communicating scientific knowledge.Introducing argumentation activities in science teaching can not only improve students'ability of argumentation,but also cultivate students'scientific literacy.At present,at home and abroad,the application of Toulmin's argumentation model to science education is more and more researched,and it is proved that this model can enhance students'written expression ability.Therefore,this study is based on the actual teaching problems,and constantly improves the design and practice of scientific writing teaching activities based on the Toulmin's argumentation model,and ultimately enhances students' scientific writing ability.Based on the above research background and combined with the problems in practical teaching,this study introduces the Toulmin's argumentation model into the teaching of scientific writing to enhance students'scientific writing ability,especially the ability of the two dimensions of organizational structure and demonstrate.This study combs the theory research and teaching practice of science writing and the research status of the Toulmin's argumentation model.Secondly,based on the specific teaching situation,the preliminary design of the scientific writing teaching activity based on the Toulmin's argumentation model was designed.Then,the students of the science education majors in the school were used to study the iteration of the three rounds of teaching,through the classroom in each round of teaching.Observing,student scientific writing texts and teaching feedback questionnaires for analysis and reflection,gradually improve the design of scientific writing teaching activities,and finally form a highly feasible and scalable science writing teaching activity design based on the Toulmin's argumentation model.Finally,the results of the students'scientific writing texts are analyzed from the four dimensions of subject,idea,organizational structure and expression to test the effect of teaching practice.The results show that the design of scientific writing teaching activities based on the Toulmin's argumentation model can develop students'ability of argumentation and the ability to organize text structure,and improve students'scientific writing ability.
