The "three supports and one assistance" program is mainly for college graduates to work at the grass-roots level in rural areas to support agriculture,support education,support medicine and help the poor.Among them,the support education program focuses on the support of college graduates to primary and secondary schools in backward villages and towns,effectively alleviate the shortage of teachers in rural areas.From 2006 to the present,with the further implementation of the "three supports and one assistance" project,groups of college graduates have been transported to rural schools in backward areas of education,injecting new blood into the local teaching staff and expanding the ranks of rural teachers,contributed to rural education.However,at the same time,the problems of "three supports and one assistance" become more and more obvious.There are a series of problems in the professional development of "three supports and one assistance" volunteer teachers,which hinder the teachers to serve the rural education better!Based on the theory of Teachers’ Professional Development,this paper takes the "three supports and one assistance" volunteer teachers in l county as the research subject,and through case studies,interviews and questionnaire surveys,this paper probes into the professional development of the "three supports and one assistance" volunteer teachers in l county at the present stage,earnestly studies the problems and influencing factors in the professional development,and according to the relevant research conclusions,tries hard to explore the reasonable solution strategy.The author made a questionnaire survey on the teachers of "three supports and one assistance " in l county,and interviewed some teachers and administrators.It is found that the professional development of l county’s "three supports and one assistance" volunteer teachers is weak,mainly reflected in professional emotion,professional knowledge,professional ability and professional self.At the present stage,the volunteer teachers of "three supports and one assistance" in l county are weak in professional emotion,lack of sense of belonging to rural education,so we can not retain the excellent teachers;The professional ability is lacking,so it leads to the limited educational level of teachers,The professional self-identity is lacking and the volunteer teachers lack the honor in rural education.Here are some things you should do:First,Perfect the training system of "three supports and one assistance " to promote the professional development of volunteer teachers;Second,improve the “three supports and one assistance ”volunteer teachers service rural awareness rebuild the professional faith of teachers;Third,in professional development,we should learn self-reflection to further enhance the level of education and teaching;Fourth,through the creation of a community of the teachers learning,creating a learning platform and other ways to built a good cooperative learning atmosphere for “three supports and one assistance ”volunteer teachers.
