| With the development of information technology,various technical means emerge in an endless stream in geography teaching,especially the knowledge related to geographic information technology,which is not only the knowledge module that high school students must master,but also an important tool used by geography teachers to assist high school geography teaching.The introduction of Story Map into senior high school geography teaching will play an important role and influence on geography teaching,because the innovative geography education is conducive to ensuring the students’ dominant position in the teaching process,and is also conducive to cultivating students’ comprehensive thinking and geography practice.In addition,exploring the application of Story Map in high school geography teaching is also conducive to enrich teaching theory,expand teaching means,mining teaching materials,which has important reference value for high school teachers to improve their own education and teaching level and classroom teaching efficiency.Taking the application of Story Map in senior high school geography teaching as an example,this paper mainly studies the feasibility,effectiveness,deficiency and Implementation Suggestions of Story Map in senior high school geography teaching from the perspective of theory and practice.First of all,through literature analysis,this paper studies the research status of the implementation of Story Map in geography teaching at home and abroad,and summarizes the basis and function of Story Map in teaching case design.Then,by using the methods of questionnaire survey,lesson experiment and interview,this paper compares the teaching mode based on the traditional mode with that based on the Story Map.Through the analysis of students’ questionnaire and test results,combined with the analysis of teachers’ interviews,this paper verifies the effectiveness of the application of story map in geography teaching in senior middle school.The research finds that it is feasible to apply Story Map to high school geography teaching.Story Map is widely used in high school geography teaching,but it is not applicable to all knowledge content.Because Arc GIS Online provides a simple and non-technical interface,Story Map is very suitable for educational technology.Story Map is also an effective geography teaching tool,with unique advantages.In the geography classroom teaching,we should pay attention to the integration of Story Map and knowledge explanation.But the Story Map still has some shortcomings in the field of geography education.For example,teachers lack training,tense hours,heavy teaching tasks,difficult to obtain map data,limited student level,poor network facilities,etc.,and need to be overcome and improved.The first part introduces the general situation of the story map,summarizes the research background,research significance,research status at home and abroad,research purposes,methods and ideas.The second part is the definition of the concept and the theoretical basis.This study is supported by constructivist learning theory,multiple intelligences theory and pragmatism education thought.The third part summarizes the case design basis and general process of story map applied in high school geography teaching.The fourth part is the lesson experiment.In the fifth part,it analyzes the conclusion of the lesson experiment,and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of story map in high school geography teaching.The sixth part is the summary and prospect. |
