Study On Case Work Involved In The Social Relief Of Vagrant Minors

The problem of homeless minors has become a morbid social phenomenon in the present society,which is closely related to the social environment and management system,the poverty of the family and the dissolution of social groups.The homeless condition and living status deviates from people's values.At present,the problem of the homeless teenager especially the constantly expanded problem in scale as well as the imperfect system of rescue and protection of homeless minor,which causes more and more side effects of chain social effects.As the vulnerable groups,the homeless teenagers live a different life with the disabled teenager in the welfare house and they are trapped minors who are on the fringes of society and may have deviated from each other all the time.But there are many factors that leads to the wandering behavior,and this bad lifestyle and state of life has seriously affected their normal socialization.In order to help the vagrant adults return to the original society,this paper is based on the investigation of the social assistance to the homeless minors in the practice of professional social work in Guilin minor protection center.This paper takes the demand orientation as the goal,supports the theory of advantage perspective and collects the data by combining quantitative and qualitative methods.This paper consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,and it mainly introduces the background and significance of the study,analyzes the relevant literature at home and abroad,and expounds the ideas,methods and innovation of the research.The second part is the general situation of the homeless minors in Guilin,and it mainly talks about basic situation of protection center of homeless minors and the main difficulties faced by the homeless minors in Guilin City.The practical investigation shows that the protect center exerts its function effectively both from the basic rescue facilities standard and rescue and care mode.It is also found that the homeless minors in Guilin are facing difficulties,suchas life dilemma,security dilemma,identity discrimination,physiological defects and so on.The third part is the practical process of using case work method to help homeless minors,and the service client with a surname Qin has the problems and characteristics of most homeless minors in Guilin,Through the definition of the core issues of the clients,the service aim is defined by negotiating with client.The agreement specifically requires both the clients and the social worker to follow the principle of case work and participate actively in the implementation of the plan in order to achieve the desired results.In the key process of intervention,the Sutiya family model is used as the intervention technique,the family system is the breakthrough point,and the final focus is to excavate the superior resources of the clients.For example: rebuild the original resource advantage,excavate the latent advantage and expand the network resource superiority support in other fields.In the evaluation,the pertinence,implementation and impact of the relief measures of all parties to the clients shall be taken into consideration.From the two the positive and negative information feedback,this paper gather the conclusion of the achievement target agreed by the clients and inform the clients of main case in advance.The fourth part is the reflection of the case work involved in the social assistance of homeless minors.Firstly,it summarizes the effectiveness of intervention on the basis of the evaluation results,and then analyzes the deficiencies in the whole process of intervention.The analysis mainly includes three aspects: the insufficiency of intervention method,the deficiency of application of intervention theory,and the lack of adaptability of social work idea in social assistance.Finally,the paper gives some suggestions for improvement,and puts forward that we should correctly establish the idea of social work intervention in the relief of homeless minors,pays attention to the application of case work method in social assistance,and speeds up the promotion of legislation to provide protection for relief.The fifth part is the conclusion,the problem of social assistance for homeless minors is constantly rising up,and it is necessary to introduce the concept of social work in order to promote social work to fully realize its own professional characteristics.Taking Guilin as an example,the attention to the problem of homeless minors is related to the construction and development of the city,showing the value humanitarian concern of the city.It is not enough to rely on the strength of the government.Therefore,it calls on all walks of life to participate inthe social assistance to the homeless minors and protecting the future flowers of the motherland.
