Abstract/Summary:
School physical education is an important part of school physical education,which is responsible for the important mission of strengthening students’ Constitution and exercising students’ willpower.However,influenced by the traditional thought of the rate of re promotion,the current situation of physical education in schools is not optimistic.There are a large number of phenomena of sheep teaching and sports class being occupied,which seriously affects the teaching quality of physical education.In view of the problems in physical education,the state has issued a series of policies,such as the "evaluation methods for primary and secondary school students’ physical education work",to guide the development of school physical education work,and provide reference and guarantee for the school sports work.This study used the methods of literature,questionnaire,comparative analysis,expert interview,field investigation and mathematical statistics to study six primary schools in East and West Lake District of Wuhan(three urban middle schools are Wujiashan third middle school,Wujiashan second middle school and Jinyin lake middle school,and 3 township middle schools are Cihui middle school,xinandiu middle school The purpose of this paper is to determine the difficulties and challenges of physical education in primary middle schools in East and West Lake District of Wuhan,The paper makes clear the factors that affect the physical education work,and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the physical education teaching in order to promote the development of the physical education work.The results show that:(1)the physical education curriculum and teaching objectives of each school in the primary middle school in Dongxihu District meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard,but there are still occupation of class hours.In the choice of teaching content,urban area can meet the needs of students’ development in many aspects.The setting of the class hour plan in the teaching plan is not ideal.(2)The primary middle schools in urban and rural areas can formulate sunshine sports work plans according to the requirements,but a few schools are not clear enough in the specific requirements of activities.All schools can incorporate physical education into teaching plans,but the implementation of rural schools is not ideal.The activities of large class and collective exercise do not meet the evaluation requirements,but the development of sports meetings and safety education and training meet the requirements.The students’ sports skills mastery,urban areas are better than rural areas,but the skill proficiency level needs to be improved.(3)The gender and age structure of physical education teachers in Dongxihu District is unbalanced,the proportion of female teachers is high,and the age of teachers is becoming middle age.The structure of teachers’ titles is out of order,and the middle and senior titles are less.The high education personnel are lack,the teachers’ scientific research ability is weak,and the vocational training opportunities of the teachers in township schools are insufficient,and the job satisfaction is not high.(4)The site equipment basically meets the national standards,and the funds of primary and secondary schools in towns are insufficient.At the same time,the physical education facilities in urban and township areas are lack of special personnel maintenance and management.The teaching of scientific management course is put forward;Actively carry out campus sports activities;Optimize the structure of PE teachers;Suggestions on improving the management level of sports facilities.
