| The 2011 edition of Compulsory Education Curriculum Standard for Physical Education and Health puts forward clear implementation suggestions on the evaluation of physical education and health learning.The results of implementing learning evaluation in various schools and the existing problems and causes in the implementation process are worthy of investigation and study.By using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,interview and mathematical statistics,the teachers and some students of physical education and health courses in junior middle schools in Wanzhou District of Chongqing were randomly selected to investigate the evaluation objectives,contents,methods,subjects and results of physical education and health courses to understand and master the implementation status of the evaluation of physical education and health courses in this area,analyze the existing problems and reasons in the implementation process and put forward some suggestions to provide reference for further implementing the evaluation of physical education and health courses.The results show that:(1)Teachers’ understanding of learning evaluation objectives of physical education and health courses is generally clear,but there is also a gap between understanding and practice,and there are some inadequacies in the implementation level in a few schools.(2)The content of learning evaluation is not comprehensive enough,focusing on the evaluation content of physical fitness,knowledge and skills,and some teachers fail to implement the evaluation of students’ attitude and participation,affection and cooperation.(3)There are weak links in learning evaluation methods,which focus on quantitative,final and absolute evaluation,but lack of qualitative,formative and relative evaluation,especially relative evaluation combined with students’ progress in physical education and healthy learning.(4)There are deficiencies in the subject of learning evaluation,which mainly focuses on teacher evaluation,and students as the subject of evaluation have not been fully implemented.(5)There are shortcomings in the application of learning evaluation results,and teachers and students have not done enough to judge the achievement of learning goals,analyze progress and shortcomings,help students improve their learning and interest in learning.In view of the problems found in the survey results,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)To further improve the understanding of the purpose of learning evaluation of physical education and health courses and effectively promote the development of students.(2)Pay attention to the evaluation of students’ attitude and participation,affection and cooperation,comprehensively evaluate students’ physical education and healthy study.(3)Pay attention to formative and relative evaluation,give full play to the stimulating role of learning evaluation.(4)Give full play to the main role of students’ evaluation,and arouse students’ enthusiasm for physical education and healthy study.(5)Feedback the evaluation results in time in various forms to help guide students to study better. |
